This narrative of Texas having no talent or Sark having to start over is demonstrably false. Texas has the best RB in the country, and Sark should have the new QB and offense humming.

Defense won't be the best in the SEC to start out, but solidly top 3-5.

I’m an OU fan and I agree that he is the best running back I’ve seen. He can do it all.

I'm not saying that he is the second coming of Saban but I think he will surprise some people in the coming years.

Sarkesian doesn’t have the clout to keep boosters off the program. That’s why Saban was such a great hire. He was going to run his program period. Bamas good old boy network needed to be put in check.

Can't wait to bump this thread three years from now when Texas is searching for a new coach.

I think that's going to be a big problem in coming years for all coaches with the NIL ruling. Booster clubs and other organizations becoming a distraction to players. The players are going to want to be out there networking to get all the money they can get from NIL.

It's only going to be a big problem for the coaches that run loose ships.

I don't get why the colleges athletic departments themselves can't pay the athletes, I mean give them a stipen outside of scholarship and their rooms and food and other expenses? This NIL thing seems like a real bad ideal; especially, since it isn't regulated yet...

Let's give a bunch of 18 to 20 year olds a lot of money, what could go wrong? I think some of this crap Booster clubs are already starting could be open to criminal and fraudulent acfivitys like money laundering, and who knows what kind of people might be gaining access to the athletes...Could be a bunch of con artists and sleaze balls...
