I mean, really. That's what the Horns moved to the SEC will be judged on: football W/L's. And that falls on the quality of head coach.

aggee gonna aggee, tho

After what sark did to your team last year, I'd be if I were you...

He buttfricked our defense last year, but he won't have anywhere close to the weapons he had for a while (if ever).

Hell I’d be scared if he put up 55 points against my team

Also made “DBU” look like a bunch of high school freshmen

Sark is an excellent coach but I doubt his ability to turn a place around. He would've been a great replacement for Saban, but starting from ground up? He just seems like more of a maintainer than a builder.

Texas has a football culture problem. Sark may be good enough to overcome it, but his record as a head coach is uninspiring..

This narrative of Texas having no talent or Sark having to start over is demonstrably false. Texas has the best RB in the country, and Sark should have the new QB and offense humming.

Defense won't be the best in the SEC to start out, but solidly top 3-5.

That's what's funny about their situation. They don't need to be "turned around". They need an infusion of competency at the highest levels instead of egomaniacal mediocre people calling the shots.

Apparently A&M is. Word in Houston is A&M is tossing money bags heavily in the city on the recruiting trail more than ever. Got to give it to the Ags, for a shitty school in the middle of a pasture, they know how to blow cash.

You'll find out on 9/11. Arkansas gonna beat the Horns by 30 in Fayetteville.

For SEC folks not familiar with traditional Horn coping techniques, this is one of their key tools. If they ink a commit, it is due to their University's brilliance.

Anyone else does and it is due to bagmen, paying players, etc. They never lose . . . .they are just too pristine to play these dirty games.

How many Alabama transfers followed him there?

11 or 22?

He did really well in Saban's shadow as a coordinator and on a smaller stage at Washington. Obviously he had personal issues at the time, but under the spotlight as HC of a big time program, he failed spectacularly at USC.

I personally think he is a solid hire for Texas, but I thought Tom Hermann was as well. So no, not scared in the least.

I would be more concerned if Texas had Ed Orgeron as head coach and Sark as OC.

Hell no. All we've learned about Sark is that his offense works a lot better when all the players executing it are 5 star superstars destined for pro bowl careeers in the NFL. He ain't gonna have that at Texas. Ever. Will go right back to being 7-win Sark with a non-Bama roster.
