Astronaut (candidate!) with an "on-line" Masters degree from uat. Hell my dog could graduate with honors from uat "on-Line". Next time please be more relevant than some article from the Bush administration. Did you not read that Billy Buford "Bubba" Beauregard is going to sign with uat? Go celebrate the 2028 national championship or maybe get a job, volunteer or do something besides worshiping at the altar of uat sports. BTW in any decent academic institution Brandon Miller would not be playing or even allowed on campus.

Seems to be. I also anticipate that people will say Georgia has the most rednecks. However, people also talk shite because Georgia is a blue state now. Those ideas seem to conflict.

I thought any of us born in the South were considered to be rednecks or hillbillys by people from other regions of the country.

Stop it. EVERY SINGLE SCHOOL has rednecks in its fanbase. A lot of them with the exception of maybe Vandy. I went to high school with MANY UGA fans and some of them might have bathed once a week. We've all got them. I love when a group of southerners thinks they don't have any white trash in their fanbase (Auburn)

Rednecks is good folks....if Alabama counts more of them amongst their fan base that speaks more about Alabama being attractive to good folks than it does about anything.....
Redneck is traditionally only negative when used by some uppity southerner whose daddy owns a bank but outside of being broke acts just like all the other rednecks or folks up north trying to feel better about their own squalid position in life. Rednecks may be ignorant and prone to emotion but we will also do anything for anyone at any time and do so willingly and without an agenda...we may look at groups negatively and promote sterotypes about those groups but individuals within that group are more often than not judged on their personal merits and not what we consider typical of the group. Finally many folks think rednecks are uniquely white and uniquely rural Americans...that ain't close to the truth...I have lived through several recessions, a couple of near depressions, several wars in Asia and I have watched a monkey have carnal relations with a football on a flat bed truck....I have been to far flund locations on most of the globe I can attest that there are rednecks in Europe, Canada, Asia and the Middle East for certain...we are ubiquitous and present anywhere there are folks who work for a living.....
