The fact that this has 18 likes is evidence of the delusion of the people who populate this site. A&M has finished top 25 in the Directors cup like 15 straight years. I don't think State has a single top 25 finish in that time.

The Directors cup is a function of all sports, and I was told State was better than A&M in ALL (his caps) sports.
Maybe you want to say..."well, we only count baseball, basketball, and football."
Well, fine. We're pretty much dead even in all of those sports since we joined the league. Again, that is embarrassing for us. We should have a massive lead over yall, like we do in all the other sports.

You shouldn't have a massive lead at all. We are a founding member of the conference. Ya'll are a sunshine pumping, Johnny come lately, mediocre school with more money. Thats's it..We have good years, some bad. Ya'll would be considered bottom feeders in today's market.

Hey.. you are the one who decided to use it as a measure. I guess Texas is completely dominant over A&M like they say.
Maybe they will be a better addition to the conference.

This if the kind of delusion I’m talking about. I can’t tell if you actually believe or if you’re just trying to convince yourself.
I’m a fan of State. I have no ill will. But A&M is a better academic institution, with a larger alumni, more money, and better facilities. This is true by any objective metric. It’s not an opinion.
This hasn’t always been the case with A&M. But it’s just fact now. I’m sorry these facts are hard for your fanbase (and other traditional SEC fanbases) to accept.

Texas is historically far better than us almost all sports, and is currently better than us in most sports. Historically, they enjoyed massive advantages over us. But in the modern era those advantages have closed, and we’re comparable institutions, although they still have a wider base of success across many minor sports.
That’s not hard for me to admit because I don’t have an inferiority complex.
