I still do not understand why Miss State did not make a hard run at Mullen last year.
I'm pretty sure our POS president blocked it. I don't know entirely, but I'm pretty sure there was some preliminary talks between boosters and Mullen.

I'm hoping we bring Dan Mullen back home when Lebby falls flat on his face again next season.

So we ended getting back that he's a level 2 or 3 possibly as far as ASD. He just turned 3 and is somewhere between 16 months and 2 years in most things according to them.
If anyone has an recs around North or NE MS for pediatricians that specialize, it'll be much appreciated.
Also ours is a super picky eater. Any suggestions for helping coax him into eating a few more foods.

It's definitely figure it out as you go. It's also our first kid, so we are figuring it out as we go while also figuring out parenting. Makes for some tough times, but fun times. Constantly figuring out what's normal/not normal.
It's tough mentally too, he says mama all the time, but I haven't heard daddy from him in over a year. I know he loves me, just want to hear it.
Potty training is hit or miss. He was doing really well peeing, but he's regressed the last few weeks. Still in diapers and don't see that changing for a bit.
We've got him on Zyrtec daily and a nasal spray. He snored for awhile at about 2. Doctor recommended Zyrtec for allergies (pet dander/egg) and nasal spray to help with snoring. Both have helped generally speaking with some sleep/allergy stuff, but he still gets bad eczema occasionally and drool/sleep issues.
Just got the official diagnosis for Autism back. Relieved a bit.

Awesome reading through this thread. I'll share my story below.
My son just turned 3 in November. My wife and I had several miscarriages prior to him, and were basically giving a less than 1% chance to conceive naturally. Well after 3 failed IUI's, my wife found out she was pregnant with him. Quite the miracle in our eyes. At 8 weeks, we decided to go ahead with genetic testing and found out he has XYY syndrome or Jacob's syndrome. This carries a few different things with it, it's not down syndrome or like it. Doctor says he will more than likely be very tall. With the XYY, it brings a host of possible delays, disorders, etc. that he will be more susceptible to.
We started doing Speech therapy in January after he turned 2 as he was already slightly delayed speech-wise. We are currently in the process of hopefully getting an Autism diagnosis to move forward and get access to more services. My wife and I are about 99% positive he has it. We've had a speech regression this past year even though he was attending therapy. Behavior issues (random hitting, etc.) have grown as well. He started 3k/early intervention at our local school and hopefully that helps some. Sleep is awful for us and for him, our youngest just turned 2 (13 months apart  ) and he sleeps on his own, through the night in his big boy bed. We have a difficult time getting him to go to sleep and stay asleep, usually wakes up 1-2 times a night wide awake and the process starts over again. He can be such a loving kid, but will snap in a second almost randomly at times.
I appreciate getting to read through this thread so far, gave me some new ideas things to try. I've recently looked into the GI issues, because I've seen some things that might explain his sleep and behavior issues that stem from gluten/milk.

I believe that era is done. Ever since Stricklin and Mullen left I don't think we've worn gold in anything. That might be wrong though. It's been at least 5 years though. I just wish we would fire whoever the idiot is that creates our uniforms because they truly suck at their jobs.
Unfortunately, I think we will. I think it looks fine on the white helmet. It looks bad on the maroon. Selmon seems gung-ho in doing the State rebrand, which I'm fine with if they would go all in 100% with it. I'd rather have interlocking MSU on the maroon helmet though.
I do believe their might be a chance we move to the interlocking occasionally, but it's slim.

Meanwhile at Mississippi State:
Zac Selmon, "Helmet stickers are too expensive, we've got to put all our money towards revenue sharing."
Also Zac Selmon, "Sorry guys it takes 3 years worth of approval just to get new uniforms. Maybe in 2027 we can debut a new look."

re: So I finally started watching "The Batman" with Robert Pattinson
Posted by ChargerDog91 on 11/19/24 at 8:05 am
It felt very much like Mask of the Phantasm at times for me. Obviously, not as childish and with different characters/villains, but the Bruce being lost and him trying to find himself was something I enjoyed about both movies. I enjoyed the aspect of Bruce about to be married and still trying to figure out that side of him. The Batman felt like a before of that type of character.
I thought Pattinson was really good. If he's still completely dark and brooding in 2, then everyone here that is mad about his portrayal can feel vindicated. But I can't imagine we will see that. I believe he will start to be the Bruce we have seen for 80 years.
I am pretty pumped about 2. There's a lot to explore. Hopefully we continue seeing detective Bruce Wayne, that's one of my favorite parts of this one. I do agree that the last 40 minutes or so dragged. I don't mind the concept, but Catwoman and her portrayal is really bad IMO.
Overall, it was an 8/10, probably a 9/10 without Catwoman.

Not to change the subject, but meanwhile Jeff Lebby refuses to fire the worst DC in college football.

Why do Chicago and Jackson keep electing Democrat politicians? Indoctrination.
He will probably be there till he dies and the next corrupt Democrat from Jackson, MS will be in that spot.

I think the average every day person that semi-follows politics is. Unfortunately, the people running aren't, nor are the people who have the purse strings. We need some new blood with new money badly, I just have no idea where that is.

I could understand that. I think he's been fairly decent by and large, but I'd rather have someone outside the system next. Even though that's highly unlikely.

I definitely agree.
I'm hoping we start seeing some real change soon. Mississippians are pretty Pro-MAGA. Would be nice to see us move on from Good Ole Boys, but might not happen until Haley Barbour is dead and gone. He controls the purse strings in Mississippi.

Good Ole Boy system is alive and well in Mississippi. Tater is fairly MAGA and has done a decent job, but our local system fights hard against any outsiders.
In 2014, Chad McDaniel had Thad Cochran beat, but it was within run-off margins. So Thad Cochran basically went the democrats and started fear mongering them to vote for him in the run-off. Open-primary State and all.

My wife's grandfather is exactly like this. He's 82 and an old school Kennedy democrat. He consumes mostly CNN stuff and doesn't realize how radical the party has become. I don't see him enough to have much conversation on politics, but I know my wife never understands how he could vote that way.
