Mike Shula gets Tim Tebow to commit and Nick Saban gets Drew Brees to sign instead of settling for Culpepper.

The world is a different place. Kirby is very likely an NFL head coach right now. 2006 was the year Saban hired him at Miami. They were an ideally matched pair, who played off of each others ideas well. He's probably an NFL DC under Saban by 2008.

I don’t think Saban unlocks Brees potential

IF my aunt had balls, she’d be my uncle.

Although I guess some people now would disagree.

Better yet… 94, Saban is BB defensive coordinator in Cleveland. What if Saban never jumps back to college and stays on a professional trajectory… the college landscape the past 30 years looks entirely different. Although he hated his years in Cleveland.

Here’s the nerd when he was head rocket at Toledo.

Saban making Brees a game manager would have been the biggest waste of talent in NFL history
