I just saw Desmond Ricks, a 5 star CB that people thought was an FSU lean, say that FSU hasn't reached out to him in months. They didn't even make his top 10. Yikes.

Miami is fixing their issues with NIL money. Facilities are going to begin to look like Pro facilities. No silly waterfalls, putt putt, or slides. Just what is needed and no more.

You must be one provincial Florida bumpkin to believe that UF will be the “Stanford of the South.” NO ONE outside of Florida, and especially the South, thinks of UF as prestigious. No one in New York, LA, Chicago, DC, or even Atlanta thinks of Florida.
Fun fact: UGA had higher ACT / SAT scores than Florida in the last admissions cycle. No one cares that a subjective News site read exclusively by high school counselors rated UF based on bullshite like student: faculty ratio, library size, and diversity. No one thinks that UF even approaches UVA or UNC. People think of Swamp rednecks when they think of Florida.
Duke, Vandy, Rice, UVA, UNC, Emory, W&L, Davidson, etc. are all better than Florida. UF has the same admissions standards as UGA, GT, W&M, Wake, Tulane, etc. Good? Certainly. Stanford of the South? frick no.

You’re confused by what I’m actually trying to say. I don’t care if UF is a top 5 university or not. Public or Private, who gives a shite?
I’m simply stating that the admin believes that this is a bigger priority than football and sports in general. And that is a problem.
But have fun beating your chest over ACT/SAT scores. Your school just won the CFP. Act like you’ve been there before.

The state of Florida has a lot of recruiting competition more than ever before from out of state schools. It wasn't like that in the past.

Dude, Florida is a fantastic school and screw you for making me post that.
They are the flagship school of a state of 21 million people. They have to have 50k undergrads. They could pass Michigan and UNC today just by squeezing their enrollment to 25k.

You better just worry about the horrible hire LSU made in Chip Kelly. The guy has gotten ran out of the stadium against the SEC can you imagine how bad he will be week in and week out? It takes a special kind of coach to be the head coach at LSU, we all know Kelly doesn't have what it takes. None of his coaches wanted to come with him, not a good sign
