Honestly, I’ve got nothing on whether there’s something nice to come out of Louisiana or Mississippi - the two worst states in the country.

So let me ask, what’s something nice to come out of these two awful states?

You're one to talk ForeverGator. For a state like Florida, surrounded by water, you all have absolutely no clue how to cook genuinely good seafood. It's actually impressive how bad seafood or really almost any food is in Florida.

And the few times I've found good seafood, it's someone from Louisiana!

Florida might have some of the worst and blandest food in the country.

ForeverGator the best seafood in Florida would barely compete in a gas station in Louisiana. Chicken at Brother's Food Mart is genuinely better chicken for example than any chicken I've ever had in Florida.

The food alone for Louisiana makes the state worth mentioning. If you’re an outdoorsmen and don’t have the complexion of Elmer’s glue from sitting on this website, both states offer some awesome fishing and good hunting in areas. Tons of talented athletes, musicians, singers, and artist are from here. The Mississippi River. Industry on the coast. Beautiful cypress trees and swamps in Louisiana, big hardwoods and hills and hollers in Ms. 2 relevant football programs unlike the gators currently.

Yep, food and music alone put Louisiana in the top 10 states in terms of cultural influence and things that have enriched the entire United States.

Add in our industry and oil and gas, and Louisiana is one of the most important states in the country.

Pub Subs are mediocre at best and flat out junk at times. Go get a Shrimp Po'boy from Parkway Tavern or a Roast Beef Po'Boy from Johnny's or R&O's, and you'll never want a pathetic Pub Sub again.

If a Pub Sub is the best you got, I rest my case. Genuinely one of the worst sandwiches I've ever had. I've had gas station po'boys better than any pub sub.

There are 30 hole in the wall places in New Orleans alone that blow away any pathetic Pub Sub.

Didn't you ever wonder why almost every decent size city has a New Orleans type restaurant? And didn't you ever wonder why you don't see any cities have Florida type restaurants?
