re: Will Sanders slip to the 3rd round?

I know this is a troll because the first pick was a black qb, but some people really are trying to push this narrative…it just shows how dumb this country has gotten!
re: Why do deer get hit/killed by cars almost daily, but wild pigs never do?

Pigs are smarter then deer, and pigs like rooting in softer places, where deer like eating the fresh green grass by the road that gets plenty sunlight and stays mowed.
re: Should I blow off work the rest of the week to chase this guy? Live Hunt

I’m not sure where this guy is hunting, but you do realize they have a ton of free range Axis in Texas?

Not arguing, but more deer doesn’t always equate to bigger bucks. Most biologist in fact say the biggest thing most places need to do is to kill more does because of carrying capacity and amount of “groceries” a piece of land can hold.
re: When NBA basketball was great.

The officiating now is comical I agree, But the offensive talent is far superior now. Drop Kyrie or Steph’s combination of handling and shooting ability in the 90s and they’d think it was sorcery. Watch game footage, not just highlights from that era and they weren’t even picking up offensive players till they were at the 3 point line. Earlier in MJ’s career he literally could not go left. A Durant’s offensive bag would be unreal in that era. Players these days are groomed from the time they can walk, sent to prep schools, special training where as 90s players played in the yard and streets and high school which created that toughness, but not the crazy offensive bags players have now.

This!
Players these days with any elite talent have been trained from such a young age. They all are so much more offensively talented than players in the 80s and 90s, but they don’t have the competitiveness or toughness. The players back in the day genuinely didn’t like each other. The playoffs were so intense, no easy buckets, or plays off. Even though the offensive talent across the board today is far superior, they’re just not as fun to watch.

We sell the muddy box stands at Hill’s Equipment. They’re pricey, but we could cut you a deal with a bulk purchase like that.

I possibly would be, I’m going to do a little research.

This is what I did, bought a cheap 870 with shorter barrel to keep from having to pack around my Benelli with a 28” barrel and 2” of choke sticking out.
Just get overwhelmed researching which red dot to go with because of so many options!

Red dot reflex shotgun sight for turkey

I’ve never turkey hunted with a red dot, but am setting up a 870 to be a turkey gun and wanted some suggestions on red dots.
re: MS deer hunters, how was your season?
Posted by Dylan on 2/5/25 at 8:58 pm
Amazing until all my guns were stolen. I hunt around Vicksburg. I got my 3 mature bucks, wife got 2, dad got 1, and put my niece on her first deer.

Can’t help you on those brands, but we sell the Yanmar which are identical to the Yamahas and the bad boys and we are currently running some specials selling them almost at our cost. Our business is Hill’s Equipment located in Livingston Louisiana.

Can’t be the best team of all time with a loss.
re: I’ve always said Burrow is my first and JD is my second
Posted by Dylan on 1/13/25 at 1:30 am
To the people saying so what about what he’s wearing. Y’all are the same people making fun of players like Cam Newton for what they wear,OBJ in the more recent years, and Caleb Williams for painting his nails.
Y’all are only saying so what because he’s the greatest LSU qb of all time.
I love both Burrow and JD, they’re fun to watch, and both represented LSU well so far. Yes, the weird clothes are definitely different, but I’m still going to pull for him.

re: Give it a break boys. They had their whole starting team basically and we were patchwork

I agree the defense looked bad, but We had 3 starters missing once Weeks went down.

You realize the team MOST agree had the most talent of all time, 2001 Miami, barely beat Virginia tech, a 4 win team, by 2?
Every year even the greatest teams have a game that was much closer than it should’ve been. At the end of the season, when 2019 LSU was really rolling beating top 5 teams by 20-30, no other team in history would’ve beat them.

re: Waddell was on Joe Rogan Today

He started off as a young, hardcore hunter. His roots are similar to many of ours were growing up, go hunt whatever stand with a rifle, not worrying about all the stuff we do as hunters now. He got noticed with his turkey calling skills and climbed up from there. He’s a great turkey hunter obviously, and even if he does get to hunt prime ground all over the country, he’s a great archer.

The better threads are the ones calling for him to be benched for Nuss during his heisman season.
re: By my count we have lost exactly 30 players and gained exactly 30 players.

There is a thread on the recruiting board talking about this. A couple posters said we were at 83 at the end of the season. Most say we have 4-6 spots available, but I’d expect more to hit the portal in the spring.
