Texas being dogs to Vandy is pretty normal considering they have a losing record to them

I have been hearing about him since the 8th grade. No way he could possibly live up to the hype. I'm not an expert on football talent but I called him "noodle arm" all through high school (not that I was a fan boy). He probably has a good football mind and might break out of the funk but I suspect he is putting an enormous amount of pressure on himself due to all of the hype. Maybe he will settle down and eventually excel but it's 50/50 at best.

I imagine that’s better than whatever you’re going to be doing.

Peyton and Eli both say Cooper was the best athlete of the three.

Really? Who did he play for? The Chargers? The Falcons? I don't remember.

Yes, but that doesn't mean he was the best football player. There's more to being a good football player than being a good athlete. The mental side of the game plays a big role in it as well. Arch is a better "athlete" than both Peyton and Eli. He runs faster, more elusive, and a lot more mobile. But the problem is, he doesn't see the field well and is slow to react when it's time get the pass off on time. He's a better athlete than they were but isn't a better football player.

This is one for the medical journals. Most uteri bleed once a month, on a regular cycle. This one bleeds six or seven times a year at irregular intervals, sometimes only a week apart.

This is an early 90's book. I have it on my shelf. It was a good read at the time.

The cover harkens back to a day when the players had the passion. I miss those days.

Read that book, too. Interesting and simpler times. I remember David McWilliams talking about why they had trouble winning in Waco and jokingly attributing it to the Bruceville-Eddy Triangle.

Wow…I’ve never seen that part of the stadium

Have they thought about changing that design at all?

The fact that nobody caught that in the architectural renderings is both sad and funny at the same time.

I read the title of the thread and thought it was an Old Sarge post... That's not a compliment.

I think if they just connect the bottom seats below the oval instead of having that part open would improve the look.
