Highly doubtful. Ole Miss is the better overall team IMO but UF has a strong enough offense and Dline to make this a very competitive game, especially in the Swamp.

He’s an excellent X & Os offensive coach with self destructive tendencies. But at this point in his career, he’s basically been a gatekeeper coach. One that challenges but never really beats the contenders. True contenders regularly beat his teams while pretenders get exposed by him.

UF’s best chance is an Ole Miss hangover and the Swamp coming up big. There’s a decent chance of that, but OM is the better team with a stud QB. Our secondary and defensive play calling leave a little to be desired.
Chambliss will feast if we dont have early momentum and the Swamp isnt a mad house.

Not at all. Lane’s short time at LSU has been absolute chaos. Happy to not be a part of it. And that is coming from someone who was all in on getting Lane. I was good to sign on for 5 years of crazy with the hopeful payoff of a NC, but it’s been way over the top.
Really glad we didn’t get Lane at this point in time. Time will tell though.

It is very odd that some LSU fans are trying to turn this situation into a win somehow.
LSU backed down as they should have and everyone is moving on. It’s not something to be ashamed of. Any other school would do the same if they were in LSU’s position.
A lot could be said that others would have never put themselves in LSU’s position, but that’s another topic altogether.

Offense - exceeded expectations. Not a good opponenet but UF played very clean and the concepst should will work against SEC teams
Defense - they got some work to do. FAU has a good offense but I was very disappointed with the lack of pressure and push from the defensive line. They were expected to be the strength of the defense.

LSU should win this one fairly easily. Clemson is not good this year. If they struggle to beat Clemson, I think LSU is in trouble this year.

If by thunderstorm you meant a Cat 5 hurricane projected to directly hit Gainesville. UCF also canceled their game that weekend as they were projected to get hit as well.

100% agree. I hope the other P4 conferences band together with the SEC & Big10 to stop this and the courts side with them.
This madness has to end. My only point is that it is kind of silly to get mad at Lane pushing the envelope here given how the players seem to be winning everything brought before the courts lately.

This whole situation is incredibly dumb. I don't agree with LSU’s actions, but it’s very clear why they and other teams are trying to do this. I can’t blame them for trying. Lane is just trying to put his team in the best position to win and is being creative about doing it.
