One of the more interesting pieces of fight song trivia is that the Osborne Brothers released the song "Rocky Top" the same week as Oklahoma and Tennessee were to face each other in the 1968 Orange Bowl.

Heupel was humiliated by Stoops after the 2014 at Norman, fired, and sent to die off at Utah State. Heupel turned a good year into an OC job at Mizzou, then his stint at UCF where he had White as his AD. White goes to Tennessee, brings in Heupel. There is no way he likes OU.
Which is crazy, bc Dillon Gabriel was Heupel’s QB at UCF, but didn’t follow Heupel to Tennessee bc he didn’t get an offer. He ends up at OU as their starting QB. And Tennessee’s offenses are more explosive than what he was doing with Dillon at UCF or that Dillon can do at OU or Oregon thus far.
I know all this bc I used to watch UCF games bc when they were on their undefeated runs wanting to see them lose. Heupel was their coach, and he kept that team winning post Scott Frost. Nowadays, I watch Colorado the same way.
