Meyer would leave Ohio State if he had top play that schedule. Another disease. He has the best gig in football and will win more than anyone. Funny, no one said a word about scheduling when LSU had to play Meyer and Saban at least once each yr and sometimes twice. Why yall picking on Urban, he'a sickly man?

Did Meyer not win the SEC twice and win 2 titles after playing "that schedule." I mean maybe the sickness was a crock of crap but he won, and won big, in the SEC too

Once an SEC team learns how to win a big bowl game again, they can have a seat at the adult table again. Until then they remain relegated at the kids table.

Your little bowl game against Texas wasn't a big bowl game.

A&M's contribution to the SEC is giving other teams an easy place to win a road game.

Championships and big wins is just not their thing. Never has, never will.

Don't bother trying to reason with these people. Some of these idiots down here still believe that crap.

He has "no idea what people want". You read it correctly. Whatever could it be?

This is the worst the SEC has been since 1998...and that entire decade when Florida dominated all the little SEC dwarves with Florida's Pac-12-like innovative offenses and NFL-caliber QB play.

It's gone back to no defense and slow high school offenses. Surprised Auburn isn't dominating given LSU and Bama run high school offenses.

Not sure we are on the same page.

Meyer won at Florida with that schedule and Meyer won at OSU with that schedule. I think the agreement is that Meyer can win either place.

Th difference is at OSU as long as he is ranked and can beat Michigan at least every other year or every 3 years his job is safe. Much lower stress than when you are at Florida and the basic ranked team and beating Free Shoes at least every other year is similar to OSU. Where it gets harder (and probably more stressful) is that in addition to that you must beat Georgia, Tennessee, LSU and one or 2 other SEC teams ratchets the level up to a much greater and more difficult level.

While I get what you're saying the pressure at Ohio State to win and win big is at least as high as any of the schools you listed.

No doubt, just in the B1G there are fewer obstacles as it is usually Michigan and the other B1G school that is hot in a given year.

OSU gets easy wins from Terps, Rutgers, and PU. Throw in 3 MACrifice games and Ohio State basically is at 6-6 without really trying.

Which team in the SEC has done this?

In 2002 Arkansas played all of those except replace Florida with Tennessee.

And then in 2006 Arkansas played all of those except replace Georgia with Tennessee.

Oh, and what happened was Arkansas won the SEC West both of those seasons.

ETA: And what is that list, the Big 6 - 1 + 3?

I get what you're saying, but I disagree for two reasons.

This is no different than Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee, etc.

Except Ohio State is doing the exact opposite. In the not too distant future, they will play a season of 12 P5 teams. Anyone else doing that?

I get that the Big Ten isn't what they used to be, but there's not much Ohio State can do about it. I also don't think the Big Ten is as weak as some let on.

And we did the exact same last year and this year except no Florida and add Tennessee this year for UGA.

We literally have gotten absolutely butt raped schedule wise since the SEC exploded.

Cool frickin story bro.

We'll see when you have 4 bowl teams max this year.

2-3 of which will fricking lose.

I love how one lucky game suddenly has made the BIG somehow legit. What a sham.

Let's talk after 3-4 in a row, let alone 7.

What are you even talking about. In the last 2 years in Big 6/BCS games the B1G is 4-1, with OSU losing a close one to Clemson in 2013, and beating the Pac 12 Champ twice, the 2014 SEC champ, and the 2014 Big 12 champ (co champ?)

I'll have one bowl team this year. If you think the conference as a whole will have 4 then you are an idiot.

One fricking year and you guys are BACK? And I don't give a shite about the Pac12 or Big 12. 1 win against the SEC last year vs how many failures the last 5-6?

Two teams in the whole conference that would even have winning records in the SEC, regardless of the division.

That shite isn't even debatable.
