Yep, when you're rich, money is not an obstacle.

Which is why Matt Rhule passed on you.

WTF is ‘Temple’?

I interned in your athletic department. Ask them.

We'll pass on the fried ravioli. We will accept Jack Stack.

You haven't read the posts! Buyout was negotiated with Temple to a very affordable sum. Temple didn't want to make it difficult for Rod to accept his dream job.

Thanks, Temple!

Buyouts aren't negotiated after one year. We wouldn't take a penny less than the $10M. Your trolling is awful.
I mean, if you're seriously paying our $10M buyout after one pretty good, but unspectacular 8-4, potentially 9-4 season, thank you.

Oh ok. Well, temple does more with less than alot of other programs. Nothing to be ashamed of at all. Who are y'all looking at hiring now?

I'm not ashamed of anything, and we do plenty with plenty.
quote:

No, I'm saying what I am bc I expected more from Mizzou. I think y'all could have made a bigger hire is my point. I think y'all settled in a way. I was expecting someone else is all. No disrespect buddy.

I'm a Temple fan.

Baylor would have 3 or 4 losses if they played LSUs schedule this season. So they best up on the weak arse big12? So what? They lost to ou too and will lose again tomorrow. Don't compare Baylor to LSU, that's just insulting to LSU.

I didn't compare Baylor to LSU?
quote:

Baylor? They're not worth a shite either...wait, should LSU be scared of Baylor now as well? My point is that there's a gigantic difference in program expectations from both the fans and the administration at LSU compared to a program like Mizzou. I just couldn't imagine being excited about our programs future bc of hiring that guy. No offense, im just being completely honest. It's the truth man. Wow.

Baylor is #7 and playing in the B12 CCG. I think they're worth a shite.

Very few programs are LSU. You don't need to shite on us and our coach because Mizzou isn't LSU.
quote:

Good Lord. Thank God I'm an LSU fan. I couldn't imagine being super stoked over hiring temples head coach at 4.5 mil a year and him being the highest paid coach in program history. That's just fricking depressing. Good for Mizzou, and thank God I was born an LSU fan.

Ask Baylor if they're happy with our coach.

Link? That’s legitimately surprising. And impressive.

This isn't fully updated, so it might not be completely up to date. Regardless, we're either 1 or 2 with UCF, but ahead of many P5 programs. We currently have 19 in the NFL, and should add another 4-6 next year.
So you're paying our $10M buyout?

That’s why the RamRod will be a great fit!

Goon wrangler on top of a A+ strategist!

Mizzou prepared to pay his $10M buyout?

So what are you disputing that he's an excellent recruiter or that Temple is a tough place to recruit at?

Calling us 'the worst school in the country' is a bunch of BS.

Tough place to recruit at? We have the most NFL players in the G5 and more NFL players than:

Oregon
California
West Virginia
North Carolina
Louisville
Utah
Pittsburgh
North Carolina State
Virginia Tech
Michigan State
Missouri
Colorado
Boston College
Virginia
Illinois
Arkansas
Oklahoma State
Maryland
Northwestern
Texas Tech
Rutgers
Kentucky
Oregon State
Kansas State
Purdue
Arizona State
Vanderbilt
Indiana
Duke
Washington State
Baylor
Georgia Tech
Arizona
Wake Forest
Minnesota
Kansas
TCU
Syracuse
Iowa State

Source just said he's a helluva recruiter despite Temple being about the worst school in the country to attract players. Word was: "Does a helluva job in a tough, tough place to get kids."

Your BS comment caused me to look up to see if I have an account, and to reply. You know less than zero about Temple University.
