Sark does less with more, and Texas could and should have hired better, but...
I'm going to defend him for not wanting to hang around for the interview.
Yesterday, during the press conference after the Pokes' upset of Oregon, Eric Morris was asked about the post-game celebration. He stated that he didn't get to see it because he was whisked away for an interview. He actually asked reporters questions about what happened.
Drew Mestemaker said pretty much the same thing.
Texas just won an amazing victory. Plus, the Mouse had already botched a halftime interview due to technical difficulties.
Celebrating with your team is more important than a copy and paste of every other such interview.

Perhaps if ESPNs sideline reporter was still Erin Andrews instead of momma dumpy Sark would give her the time of day.

He was just emotional after the win. He’s feeling pressure to be good.

I’m more surprised that people actually care about this.

He kinda gave an interview…a very short one.
“Later, I’ve got more important shite to do. Bye.”

Other conferences allow that kind of thing, but he is contractually obligated to do it in the SEC. If he doesn’t like the SEC rules he is more than welcome to go coach somewhere else.
I believe that was the consensus on here last week regarding SEC rules.

Instead of talking football, the board gossips about the little things

Nobody here really cares that he skipped the interview, they just need chaff for their personl grist mills.

Wish they would completely scrap interviews with coaches.
The whole thing seems more fitting Battle of the Network Stars than a serious game.
Does anyone actually like them?

A coach should always act like he's been there or expected the win but this was his biggest win ever as a HC.
I figure he knows what the risks are for not doing the interview from network/conference agreements. If he gets fined, I'm sure Texas will pay it and overlook it.

How did you feel about Kiffin’s halftime interview at Clemson?
I agree with you about Sark btw

Oh, Lawd. Now you’ve done it. All the virtue signalers on here who can’t wait to tell you, “Holly is the best at what she does!* She overcame cancer, you unfeeling monster!” are going to be upset with you.
* Even though none of them can tell you exactly WHY she’s better than every other sideline bimbo.

I read that the interview was being delayed for technical issues on ESPN’s side, and by the time they worked them out Sark had to leave.

That was the halftime interview. It's the post game interview that has folks fake outraged.
