to prepare for Tennessee. Tennessee is Alabama's main historical rival and it hurts a lot more when Alabama loses to them.

Georgia is currently a good team, but have been nobodies for most of their existence and Alabama never really developed a rivalry with them because they were considered basically a high school team.

It's not that big a deal that Alabama lost to Georgia early in the season because Alabama will come around and get them later.

But, to lose at any time to Tennessee is more than can be accepted. DeBoer made the right decision to only spend a couple of hours in preparation for Georgia.

I am definitely not a Georgia fan but I would say they have always been at least a good team. I was born in the eighties and I’ve never known them to suck

You probably didn't know Georgia sucked back then because you didn't have eyes at that point in your life.

From '84-'91, Georgia didn't even have a single 10 win season.

So you have to have exactly 10 or more wins to be a good team? I didn’t say great but winning 8,9,10 games when they only played 11 games seems pretty good

That doesn't make sense and I can't logically respond to gibberish. Sorry.

Basically, that really is what happened. They were so battered and beaten and reticent from even their most recent history with Bama.

It was huge deal for them to beat Big Daddy. For Bama, it was another step they had to take, win or lose, to proceed with the season.

Thanks, Foothand. I mean that.

To have me, you, Texag7, and CajunBama all in the same thread is a very good thing.

A little full of yourself, aren't you, Mr. Nouveau Riche? Do you really think Bama views Georgia as their Super Bowl? That's not even a good troll because it lacks any type of validity whatsoever.
