I've got the gators beating Miami but in fairness I have the Cocks winning out.

He's injured and should be sitting now.

Wouldn't that just delay his entrance into the NFL?
Not necessarily. He needs to be 3 years removed from high school, so he's going to be playing college ball somewhere next season.

You make a good point, but Wouldn't it be simpler to coach Nuss up than to start over with what's most likely a basket case right now.

What? Nuss is hurt but he’s staying qb this year. There’s going to be a huge hole at qb next year after he goes in the draft.

What’s the benefit in paying him then?

There, fixed it for you.

I tell him to take a bike and move on to a less entitled kid.

At one time Aggies really wanted him but I expect that ship has sailed.

I'd take him at LSU. He has talent, he just needs to be coached.

You will get a lot of downvotes, but I would take him too. Lots of potential upside and we need depth anyway.

For those of you saying he sucks, which he does, I’ll just put this here. QBs can improve, believe it or not.

He threw 5 interceptions in one, One, ONE game. I'm not sure you can coach bad decision making out of a player when it's that bad. That said, I'm sure the Gators would be happy to Red Rover Red Rover him right over to you.

Nuss threw 3 Ints vs A&M last year and I think he's at the very least an above average QB. Somethimes good QBs have bad games.

Those were both Corral. Corral threw 6 against Arky and 5 against LSU in 2020. Believe he only threw 5 in all of 2021.

As a Tennessee fan, can’t believe I’m saying this, but I sympathize with the Gator fan base. It’s one thing to have some rough stretches of seasons, but when you’re starting QB quits that’s straight bullshite and Florida should withhold any and all NIL funds from him if this actually ends up being true and happens.

I’m not buying that. These five star recruits usually think they are going to the NFL after their third year, so getting reps is more important than preserving a year of eligibility which they don’t believe they are going to use.

Good thing you make no decisions about personnel.

Matthews on a Gator podcast said that of his 5 interceptions, 1 was a Hail Mary & 2 were tipped. Not knocking DJ, just replying to a specific question. Other Gator podcasts are saying that lots of smoke saying that if Billy is let go, DJ will enter the portal as he is "very loyal to Billy" This rumor about him redshirting is new as far those earlier podcast comments.
