Do you want to play for Coach O or Saban?
The LSU players absolutely love Coach O and he loves them.
It is possible to win championships without being a miserable prick.
And not giving one frick about your players well being.
I think many fans are underestimating the shift in recruiting that is already happening.

While I 100% agree, can we at least wait until we actually win the title this year before talking about winning championships with a different personality?

Coach O without a doubt. It's awesome that this was their big recruiting weekend and had tons of talent there watching LSU kick their collective gump asses.

Depends on my position and whether I’ll likely have the opportunity to play professionally.
If that’s the case, I follow the coach/assistant who gives me the best chance.
I like both coaches, for what it’s worth.

Honestly, I agree in a sense.
Alabama football the last decade has been run like an organization. A well-run machine. Everyone has been playing catch-up. High school recruits know a path to a national championship, or at least a SEC title, and a chance to be drafted was attainable through UA football and Saban probably easier than pretty much any other program. These kids from California and Hawaii don't give any fricks about Rammer Jammer, Houndstooth, the Bear etc.
What we did the other night is show they're human.

Go play for a coonass DL coach who has 1 good season as a HC in progress.

Read this exact same statement about Les Miles 4 years ago. Most players would rather play for Saban unless they are LSU fans.
