You got it!! If Clemson was in the SEC they would be the 7th or 8th best team in the conference. After Bama, UGA, LSU, UF, A&M, and Auburn. And that’s assuming you could hold off an improved UK. And after OU and Texas join us you probably wouldn’t make the top 10 most years. One thing for sure Clemson would never see Atlanta. With UGA in the East and Bama in the West it wouldn’t happen no matter which division y’all were put in.

Actually Florida sucks - big time. I was just trying to be nice and only mention the hot air. Did you know that the St John’s is one of only 2 rivers in the entire world to run south to north. We always thought that was because it couldn’t wait to get out of Fla.
Imagine our surprise when we learned it was really because the Gator teams playing in the annual cocktail party in N Fla suck so bad they actually divert the course of the River.
Know how to keep Gators from running across your lawn? Put up goalposts.

Clemson is definitely beatable. But like a handful of other teams, you've got to bring your A-game

If uga decides to let JT sling it for 35/40 pass attempts then yes. If they decide to appease all 4 running backs like Kirby always does they won't beat Clemson.

Spot on. If JT throws it that much… Clempson is done.

Clemson returns almost everyone from their defense last year. They’ve had something like 20 straight games with multiple sacks and 6 straight seasons of 40+ sacks. UGA’s o line will not block them all night. UGA is also super thin in the secondary vs a very good QB with limited tape to dissect. I think UGA can’t run the ball and the play calling becomes predictable and gets Daniels harassed all night. 34-23 Clemson.

Yeah, they have to win or at least keep it close. A bad beating here would not be great look for Kirby.

As much as I like to mess with UGA fans and I do see several issues for them this season, the biggest mismatch I see is the Clemson LT and Center. They list the LT at 6'2" which mean he is closer to 6'0". Thats asking alot for a guy that doesnt have alot of length to deal with Adam Anderson in pass pro.

Also the Clemson Center only weighs 285. Jordan Davis is a great interior DL and is pushing 350. Thats screams mismatch to me

Clemson would be top 5 in the SEC, for the first few years. Then, there recruiting will slip because they will not be able to guarantee commits a chance to be in the playoffs, and they will have to share more of those recruits with GA, SC, and Florida. After that starts happening, then Clemson would slip down to around the middle of the road schools, and maybe even further, but not right off the bat.

This right here. I UGA shows up and the players play to their abilities, Clemson is very beatable.

You dont lose Etienne and Goldie locks and still score at the same level, not against and SEC defense anyway.

Should be a good one.

Funny considering we were second nationally in scoring offense. Wanna keep a dirty arse mutt off your lawn? Put up signs of National Championships trophies, they’ll stay away for at least 41 years

We moving in the right direction, but not sure if we have the healthy personnel at the moment. I'm expecting ground and pound.
