Look
Dont let the north get in our heads
They want to say they are more intelligent cuz theyre are jealous of the souths Bravery, Athletes, and Money and hot women
But we all know the south has great minds
Physcists in Texas has been killing it and the whole south will do the same thing soon, then no one on earth can come close to touching us
Trump will be so blow away he’ll probably never leave Florida again

Tigerpaul, LSU is the only one who treats teams in his own conference second class
Every day we have good conversations until LSU fans show up
It must true the french hate english cuz LSU badmouths every fan from every team on here for no reason
Go get drunk and run into a glass wall with your pants down and fall down and hit the ground like that LSU fans in that famous youtube video.

First, kick out Missouri.

Then add Clemson, Florida State, and NC State.

I'd rather delete a few teams...You're on that list.

“Honest question: do you see the ACC remaining intact?”

Don’t know. But having west coast teams in the B10 & ACC is plain weird. The Pacific Coast no longer being a conference is also hard to believe.
But where all this leads is anybody’s guess. Eventually it will return (IMO) to more regionalized conferences. Travel from WA to NJ for a regular season conference game is just plain dumb. Occasional OOC games with teams across the country make great sense. But not every year in every sport.

WHY can’t people think about NON-fb sports?

I can, but only UNC brings that on a consistent basis. UVA has lost both of its NC coaches in the last two years due to multiple issues and they are not consistently good in other sports. Plus, they bring no revenue to the conference. Virginia Tech has a much bigger fan base than UVA.

Why expand it when the good teams hardly play each other?
As a Texas fan i want Ohio st., Georgia, Florida on road, Bama, LSU, Oklahoma,
South Carolina, Tennessee and A&M and anyone else ranked nationally in SEC on my schedule this year but rest of SEC must be too scared to schedule that kind of season

you're an idiot

Its true
I dont want to go there and play three superweak small non conference schools like all other SEC teams do every year
I want to play the real SEC
Whoever made our weak schedule just insulted Texas
But he might've insulted himself more

See my other post about that kind of travel will hurt the conferences (@ least the teams/players).

The issue I have about “more regionalized conferences” is 2 words: more conferences. How do you have a playoff if, for example, 4 conferences grow up to 10? I was against the old version of the p/o since it was 5 conferences competing for 4 slots (& even allowing multiple teams from the same conference).

Fsu Miami Clem unc notre dame. Not that it matters bc the end game is the same. Ppl seem to still think this is a game of conference supremacy but it’s a game of musical chairs. There will be only one conference(makes too much sense from a money and administrative aspect) in the future of big brand college football. They’re following the nfl model and it won’t be big ten is afl and sec is nfl and they coexist. It’ll be one or the other housing all the premium brands.

Now that college sports are professional, I’d like to see the P4 conferences merge and then break into divisions so that local rivalries could thrive. I’d like to see UK play IU, WVU, Vandy, Louisville, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Perdue, UVA, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, and Mizzou frequently, for example. I think we’re headed in that direction.

I don't know why an "elitist" conference has not already been bandied about

here's a domino for you... if UNC leaves the ACC, Duke will call Notre Dame and SMU and others, and I think the result will be a huge move for the high academic public/some privates/huge money/etc

Notre Dame
Northwestern
Boston College
Purdue
Army

Duke
Georgia Tech
Wake Forest
Tulane
Vanderbilt

SMU
TCU
Baylor
Miami
Rice

Stanford
California
Southern California
UCLA
BYU

Talk about a conference getting favoritism in playoff bids and playoff officiating...

left out would be Navy, Air Force

I agree with everything you said but this is about unc, and I’m sure unc has signaled to anyone listening that they’d prefer uva be there date.
