If the rumors about Saban are true, I could see Bama going after Elko

Let me start this off by saying that my sources are echoing that Saban will retire if they win it all this year. I don’t believe they’ll finish the Job so he’ll have Atleast one more season.. let’s say Elko has a great year next year and goes 9-3 with a win over Bama. I could definitely see the Gumps poaching him. 9-3 is no easy feat over in CS so it’d be one hell of a coaching job. Just my 2 Cents.

Regardless my cousins boss who’s in the REC has confirmed that Saban is retiring after this year or the next.

I’ve got a sauce saying it’ll be Norvell. FSU is really going to hate bama after that.

Saban is gunning for the win record at Alabama. He’s at 206 wins. Needs to get to 233 to break Bryant’s record. That’s roughly sometime in 2025.

You willing to leave the board forever if that doesn't happen?

LOL, they ain't hiring Elko. Zero chance they go after a coach with no meaningful experience as a head coach.

saban is the type of guy that will sabotage his own program

after he leaves

To make himself look better

That it was all about him

Not the program

Elko, seriously? I'm guessing your insiders either don't know shite or don't exist.

You have to consider the source. It’s tRant. They’ve been wrong on everything Alabama for three decades.

That sounds like MackBrownTexasFootball.com putting the kibosh on going after Saban as his replacement on his way out

His insider is his hope that Saban retires because he hates Alabama more than he loves LSU.

Wishful thinking, CFB has changed and what Saban has done would be extremely difficult to replicate. Saban knows this and will leave the program in good shape.

Bruce Norvell doesn’t appear to be cut out to be a Bama HC. He’s a bit too whiny.

Now if Kelly continues to have 3-4 losses a year, Bruce would fit in fine there.
