Not when the call on the field loses the debate.

Well, it doesn't. It's entirely subjective, and would have been called half the time or more.

Or are you going to pretend we haven't seen targeting penalties assessed for less?

The helmet either hits the helmet or it doesnt, which isnt exactly subjective. They clearly had evidence it did NOT, and so do we. Some of you just refuse to see it.

We have seen flags for less. Some of them are mistakes. We have seen no flags for more. Some of them are mistakes.

No dog in this fight but to me that was the only terribly missed call. An intentional blow to the head whether by shoulder or helmet should be called. He was a defenseless receiver.

I think the right call was made but he made some contact with helmet to helmet. But he didn’t launch and it wasn’t crown that made the contact to he’s helmet. It wasn’t just shoulder to shoulder.

The flag would have stood if there was contact with the helmet.

Thankfully, the contact was to the shoulder.

it would have been sustained and Georgia would be sitting home this year.

Georgia so lucky man. SO lucky. Like it's a really good thing that dude hadnt had a heart attack yet, and Ohio State's kicker dropped his controller.

I see helmets making contact after the shoulder.

Subjective.

So...subjective.

By the way, it's funny to see the same Georgia fans who were bitching about the hit on Bennett against Tennessee act like this isn't up for a subjective discussion.

That is just bad eye sight. They never touch.

Anyone arguing for that one was wrong, just as you are.

Sure they do. Others see the same.

Subjective.

Not sure this dude agrees with you there.

If you have already watched two videos then one more 15 second video won't hurt so watch the one I posted above and if you aren't a pussy you will admit it was not helmet to helmet.

I have watched it. Watched it in a thread earlier.

They made helmet to helmet contact. Frame by frame, they made contact.

In your video the frames catch the millisecond before impact and millisecond after impact. It was that violent and fast.

Like throwing a 100 mph fastball to a catcher. You can video his glove up close even with good video equipment, and depending on when the frames fall you will just see a ball a few inches from the glove, then a closed glove with some dust in the air. shite happens fast. Just because the camera didn’t catch the exact moment the ball went in the glove doesn’t change that it went in the glove. You saw it was about to, you saw something hit the glove and the glove got knocked back. Maybe it was the ball?

Or hit a tennis ball against a wall and video it. Just because you have a frame of the ball 3” before it hits the ball going one way, and then the next frame is of the ball 3” off the wall going the opposite direction; you can’t honestly argue it didn’t hit the wall.

I promise you this. Ronnie Harrison did not just become possessed by a demon and have his head spin around when he went to catch that ball. No, someone hit him. Knocked him unconscious.

And he wasn't the only one in both threads.

#2 should have been kicked out of the game for blatant targeting.

1) It wasn’t targeting anyway

New rule! Apparently you have to let the opposition catch touchdowns if they have to extend for the catch. No fair tackling them or trying to knock the ball loose.

Only biased UGA haters or those with poor eye sight think the helmets touched.

I agree. And a different group of refs would have called a few of the 9 holding penalties they let slide for Ohio state. I counted 2 against UGA that weren’t called and I was being very ticky tacky about it.

Or, new concept that might revolutionize the game. Play the ball.

Your conference's coordinator of officials agrees.

Violent
& Fast
& most importantly CLEAN

Unlike his video, your pic is at a terrible angle, with poor clarity, so it doesnt prove anything.

You, and others, have a very poor understanding of force and body mechanics.

It was posted for you above. Look at it or don't. Doesn't really matter because you're going to see what you need to see.

He wants to quit his job and become a 7 on 7 league coordinator of officials?
