We already have Missouri State and would like for them to leave.

None of those make any sense. The SEC wants to expand its TV market. The SEC already has the states of Florida and Texas. If they expand it would be into North Carolina and Virginia.

This is the only answer.

UNC and Duke. Gets all of the NC eyeballs, doesnt unnecessarily add new competition for football, and raises the Basketball brand.

What about East Carolina? Then they can be LSU's permanent East rivalry to "make things fair"
Would still be tougher than yours.

Basketball doesn't make money. Football makes money they wouldn't take on a program like Duke just because they're good in basketball. They would need to be decent at football. North Carolina makes sense, outside of them I'm not sure anyone else makes as much sense as UNC. They field competitive teams on the football field with devoted fans and they are definitely a Title contender on the Basketball court which doesn't hurt them in getting in, but it wouldn't be based solely on the fact that they are good in basketball.

It does at Duke and North Carolina.

Duke is a national brand in basketball.

Well, and they are the other half of college basketball's only premiere national rivalry.
