It would be a big mistake not to lock playoff Pete up long term, very few coaches have two playoff wins. Kalen only has one.

Kind of like LSU did with the coach who has never won a playoff game? Or a conference championship?

It's amazing to me how LSU fans denigrate coaches for what they haven't done while their own coach has done less.

In fairness it took LSU fans a few posts to turn this around to be about Lane Kiffin and LSU, so....

Absolutely.
His meltdown would make a lot more sense if he was an ole miss fan.

He’s not though. He’s a bama fan, foaming at the mouth and losing his shite over LSU in an ole miss thread.

You say something like this, and then expect LSU fans to "admit fault," "be humble," and "give a fair handshake?"

I think it's clear who the piece of shite is here.

Uga is favored, so give the points. Either way, Kiffin’s Eye for talent is gone and so is old mess after about 4 more games.

If Trinidad goes down on the first series and he does it with the backup, yes.

This. Trinidad is to Ole Miss as Cam was to Auburn. He makes an incredible difference.

We'll see the real Pete next year with Trinidad gone. Unless of course he sues for a 7th year of eligibility.

Pete still playing with house money; let’s see if he can maintain next two years.
Omiss cheated by keeping their 6 year starter who should be in NFL; but I know, I know he technically didn’t sign With the NFL. Next year will be a jump off; then each subsequent year less and less until Pete is Lanes defensive coordinator somewhere down the road.

Does that earn your respect for him as a coach SEC?

Yes. The dude is a very good coach. He already has my respect. OM better be prepared to open up the bank account to hold on to him because there will be several programs looking for new HCs.

All it takes is some local judge to declare him eligible and the NCAA will be powerless to stop it. Would not surprise me at all.

He needs to win without and ineligible QB, and then he will get that respect. Takes more than half a season to earn it. He is doing good overall, though.

I get it. He's trolling maybe. But its not like you don't do your share of trolling. The funny part is when a troll gets trolled.

Alabama and LSU fans spend an inordinate amount of time trolling each other, then getting fired up when the other fan base trolls them.

This is the dumbest argument I hear LSU fans keep repeating. This isn’t 2018 anymore. Every single player on this ole miss team is a Golding recruit because you have to re-recruit your team every year. Trinidad wasn’t even recruited by Lane, that was Weiss and Judge (who is still at ole miss). Lacy has been broken all year so Pete is winning with his backup RBs. The defense was fully him and was shite earlier this year but clearly has improved, which is a sign of…wait for it…coaching.

LSU fans: 2019 LSU was the greatest team in college football history.

Also LSU fans: Georgia lost to LSU in 2019. Ha, that shite has to be embarrassing!

I don't really have an opinion either way. He is doing better than I thought he would but I don't if he is a great coach, good coach, or terrible coach.

You have guys like Chizik who went 3-9,2-10 at Iowa State, got hired by Auburn, went 8-5, then 14-0 with a natty with Cam, then 8-5 and 3-9 before being fired.

You have Ed O who went 10-25 at Ole Miss, then started 9-4 at LSU, got Burrow, went 10-3 and 15-0 then 5-5 and 6-6 before getting fired.

Chambliss very likely makes up for deficiencies like Burrow and Cam did.

Holding together the team through the playoffs last year and this year is impressive thoguh, Chambliss or not.
