How much is the Big 12 currently paying them?

SEC trade for Nebraska ?

No. Last time around Mizzou was asked if we were interested in junior membership. We said frick off.
Not saying they would have taken Mizzou over Nebraska just that they did reach out for interest.

Though mizzou brings nothing to the conference, they have a nest on the ground financially.
It would be stupid to leave.

I dunno what Mizzou is. They are rednecks that are wannabe hipster liberals but that the real hipster liberals find uncouth.

The student body is mostly St. Louis and Chicagoland. Now, outside of the campus, Columbia is as redneck as the Deep South. Course the same can be said of Champaign and any college town in the Midwest.

Full membership from the jump? Probably. The hangup back when Nebraska took the spot was the junior membership/lack of revenue sharing.
SEC was an unexpected lifeboat.
IF they offered now, I'd probably lean towards doubtful.
We are a Midwestern state, and would fit in lightyears better culturally.
Edit: Way too much tryharding on "being southern." The state hasn't changed since we moved to the SEC, and minus the bootheel, VERY few people were claiming to be southern.

Not my experience. It is either the least Southern southern state or the most Southern northern state. You should venture south of HWY 44.

What exactly is junior membership, and how can we apply it aggy?

Missouri opens the St. Louis tv market - greatest number of sets in the SEC between Houston and Atlanta.

Missouri isn't going anywhere. I was there for the 2012 game in Columbia and it was a decent atmosphere despite a near hurricane that unfolded. I like them in the SEC way better than Arkansas, South Carolina or A&M.

You have been pretty anti Mizzou lately. Want to go ahead and point to the place where Mizzou touched you?
(the color of the shoes are the perfect touch...pun intended)

Correct...Midwest rednecks shower twice a week

If we joined the B10 they’d be moaning about us not fitting the culture because we are too southern. So I’d rather just stay here and enjoy the northern complaints.

ESPN would pony up more money for the SEC to keep Mizzou. 1 school, 2 media markets. Big 10 network has the biggest payouts now, ESPN doesn't want them to trade Nebraskas small Omaha market, for StL and KC.
