If LSU wins out, both UGA and Tennessee should be left out of the playoffs...
Posted by Chicken

Teams that lose in December should never play for a title...and Tennessee didn't even win their division, so the idea of them making the playoffs is a joke.
This is how I see it playing out:
- LSU wins out
- Ohio State wins out
- TCU wins out
- USC wins out
Playoff seedings:
1. Ohio State
2. TCU
3. LSU
4. USC
Ohio State vs LSU for the title...LSU wins for its 4th legit title (second only to Bama's 8 legit titles).
"So Let It Be Written, So Let It Be Done..."

I don’t see LSU beating UGA but if they win out they definitely deserve the playoffs
Has a two loss team made the playoffs?

Here's the list of 2-loss P5 champions who've made the CFP:
Here's the list of 2-loss P5 Champions who didn't make the playoffs when another team was taken instead (either non-p5 or non-conference champion):
2016: Penn State & Oklahoma (11-1 OSU taken instead)
2017: Ohio State & USC (11-1 Bama taken instead)
2020: Oklahoma & Oregon (10-1 Notre Dame taken instead)
2021: Baylor & Pitt (Georgia & Cincinnati were taken instead)
If LSU wins the SEC CG...the loser of the OSU/Michigan game could slide in over them. Just saying...it's happened before.

*2 loss titles aren't legitimate.

Up until last year, I think that scenario would have been entirely plausible. But now I think Kirby has pulled his shiet together and will have the Dawgs at optimal performance level come SEC champ game and playoffs.
