Not quite, OP asked if LSU fans would be willing to “self ban” if we lose to Clemson..
Talking like South Carolina beats Clemson in football on a regular basis, when that’s not the case by a wide margin. Their record against Clemson is an embarrassing 44-74.
My point was, if your favorite team has a history of not being very good, haven’t won a conference championship, much less made it to a national championship, then it’s incredibly wild to ask if another fan base will “self ban” for losing a single game. With a new coach, mind you.
To answer the question, no I will not self ban, since South Carolina fans did not self ban for losing 8 games last year. LSU was bad, but not that bad.

Win or lose game 1…..LSU made a great hire and it’s prepped to have success in the SEC and college football as a whole.
