USC is desperate now and Kiffin has matured since his tenure.
So basically since his gf(usc) dumped him in a humiliating fashion. She’s now desperate enough to take him back and you think he’d jump?

He may be a better coach but he has not matured. He’s still an arse clown.

Lsu is such a perfect fit for him or stay at ole miss. Think he would take Florida over Auburn bc no point having to recruit in state vs bama.
Starting to think he may just stay at ole miss. They love him and as long as they give him funds for nil why not. He doesn’t have to get a title there to be appreciated. Lsu and Florida would both expect that.

There’s a new thread everyday from someone fantasizing about Lane leaving Ole Miss. Wild.

Its fun to poke at the OM fans
I doubt UF makes a serious offer though.

If Alabama calls, I think he moves his family to Tuscaloosa. Other than that, I honestly think he stays at OM until the right pro job opens up. He was born to be a professional coach.

Honestly if I were him I'd stay at Ole Miss. He has a good thing going. Not sure he can win a natty there but it's definitely a possibility. Plus they love him there and will pay. Not to mention the cough cough the coeds..

Brian Kelly isn’t going anywhere anytime soon unless he voluntarily steps down.

LSU is the best situation of those choices. Excuse me while I vomit.

Miami seems like a perfect lane fit.

That was as OC under coach O
He took the head coach job at the small school in Florida instead

Public opinion and freedom
Just what every HC dreams of when they enter the profession
He didn't just enter the profession though
He was an NFL head coach of a prestigious team (Raiders, and yeah the Raiders WERE a big deal for a very long time. Up there with the Cowboys. Got fired badly.
HC at Tennessee, then screwed them over horribly to take the job at USC, a legendary spot... and got fired on the airport tarmac.
Went to Alabama to rehab his career working under Saban... and pissed Saban off so badly that he got dismissed before the national championship game.
Lane has crashed and burned more spectacularly than anyone in history... and now he's found stability and a loving fanbase in the SEC at Ole Miss. I don't see him giving that up right now. If he went to LSU, we'd be pissed and bitching over 9-3, while at Ole Miss they salute him for that.
