Stop ruining their fun. This is a once in a lifetime season for Ole Miss. To think they’re at the mountaintop already when they’re on the cusp of the best season of their lives is a sad outlook.

ignore his antics and enjoy the ride. If I’m an Ole Miss fan I’m not going to dwell on it because Ive never seen a 12 win season before and likely never will again

A coach who has never won anything. I don’t get it. What’s so special about this immature social media whore that schools are fighting over him?
If he was coming to my school I’d be pissed.
there’s only 3 coaches in FBS that have ever won a title and no one wants Dabo. You’re naive if you think there’s a better coach available. 50 wins in 5 years at Ole Miss is elite tier. They have a D2 qb

Very similar to what he did with Auburn in '22. Real reporters around Auburn thought the deal was about to happen. We'll see if he actually signs on the dotted line this time, but would not surprise me if this was just him having fun to come back as the hero in Oxford. Again.

They would absolutely leave your are if OSU or TX came a calling. Dont forget you had a coach come out of retirement and went to OSU....not back to your team.

The problem is you hire decent coaches and they get mixed up in your dumpersterfire of a program and end up fired because you cant get it together. I'll toss Auburn and Arky in there too.

LSU has its own issues but they fired a coach that wins 8-9 games a year....because he counldnt get them to that next level.

Not sure Kiffin is worth the headaches given he’s always looking for the next thing. Thought he had grown up some

Kiffin is not the one making this a circus. It is the media and the fans.

What do you expect him to do? Make a statement that the only way he will ever leave Ole Miss is in a pine box?

If you don’t think this circus is a distraction for his team … not sure he cares about that, tbh.

he has always been a snake dude.

And he is proving that. I doubt he stays at Ole Miss for much longer. (Not saying it’s this year, but if a true huge school comes knocking with a giant check, he will be gone).

Maybe for some diehard Ole Miss fans with the dread of past pre-Kiffin Ole Miss era disappointments (like Tuberville leaving)... they might not like what is happening, but majority of the Ole Miss fanbase understand the situation and they are just enjoying this season.

What is interesting is that the Ole Miss athletic department has not utter a word regarding Kiffin other than his extension is on the table. The threat of the ultimatum was according to Kiffin untrue.

The Ole Miss team from the players' recent media conferences, appeared to be focus and not distracted by this circus. We have not seen any leaks or social media unfollows, unlikes, deleted posts etc... that commonly seen from player dissatisfactions. Except from other schools like DJ Lagway following Lane on IG...

Most of the meltdowns are from other fanbases especially UF and LSU because the uncertainty is killing them, they are stuck in limbo, hoping for Lane to come, but terrified of the possibility that waiting could cause their current players hitting the transfer portal and decommitments of HS recruits.

I think Lane and his team are laughing at all the LSU/UF fanbase meltdowns while other fanbases are trying to egg them on.

Why? As long as the Ole Miss team is not distracted, I think it's funny and strategic. From the players' media interviews, there are no signs that the players are distracted by this saga. Players are talking about watching college football this Saturday, going to the shooting range, and deer season.

It is funny because the meltdowns by UF/LSU fanbases multiply daily.

It is strategic because UF, LSU, Auburn, Ark, and Penn State are essentially in limbo, a headless snake in the death throes of a wasted season and uncertainty of the next seasons which will just magnify the remaining SEC teams.
