LSU has proven it can win against great competition in a boat race or in a trench.

LSU’s offense did enough to win, but the patience to play field position strategically and to take what was there was impressive to me.
LSU is a well coached team with talent.
It will take a great effort for any team to beat them.

I’ve watched both. The defenses are not similar. Auburn’s is notably better.

General speaking Auburn and LSU play highly contested close games each year. I never thought LSU was going to blow the doors off of Auburn. Watch out Bama!

Its pretty funny that if Nix was more accurate in that game - LSU probably would have took two interceptions to the house.

Florida and Auburn have much better defenses while Bama has a much better offense. This will be a one score game. I'm going to guess somewhere around 34-31 LSUUUUUUUUUU

Why do people play the comparison game? Transitive property, etc...it never works.
Auburn got terrible QB play and likely could have beaten both LSU and UF if it was better. However, assuming Auburn moved the ball better and scored more then you have to recognize both LSU and UF would have done things differently in response to it.
