Burrow is legit.
Saturday he was incredibly patient.
That is a skill that many college QBs struggle to learn. He did not force the ball.
He’s really good.
Auburn kept it close because Auburn won special teams.
Both defenses did their jobs.
LSU’s offense did enough to win, but the patience to play field position strategically and to take what was there was impressive to me.
LSU is a well coached team with talent.
It will take a great effort for any team to beat them.
You've got my upvote. Sincere analogy. Auburn's defense is legit - they gained serious respect from me. That D-line is sick and almost unfair to have to play against. I hope you beat Bama's arse.

That would be their stout defense and running game.
Not running game. We held them to 100 yds less than their average. They had 130 total rush yards and 75 of that was a busted run.
LSU dominated Auburn's top 10 run game.

If Tua can't go, i think Bama only wins by 10.

Good post. Can't oversell how much better Auburn was on special teams. I know Bama has a great punter as well, so LSU will need to perform much better on special teams against them.
Auburns defense made LSU fight for everything and I'm sure other teams will try to emulate that, but most teams don't have those two monsters in the middle plus that linebacker who stopped a lot of plays for us by himself.
In the end I think Nix's inaccuracy limited the scoring for both teams, as it allowed LSU to be conservative on offense.
Also worth mentioning is that last Auburn TD drive was really fluky, with the crazy sideline completion as well as the injury and bad PI call on Stingley. Hopefully LSUs coaches learned not to be SO conservative that a couple of flukes plays can cost you a game.

Lol Auburn in no way almost won that game.

I don't think Alabama fans need to worry about 1-loss teams getting into the playoffs this year.

A cat herder at qb..... now that’s funny I don’t care who you are

Imagine if you just ran the ball down LSU's throat and kept LSU's defense on the field for the entire first quarter. You won't have to throw it.

If LSU beats Bama, Auburn will beat Bama IMO. Nick is the GOAT but there could be...might be...a crack in the armor if LSU & Barn defeat Bama.

If Bama had Auburns defense you would have a point

LSU matches up ok against Bama this year, but Auburn really doesn't. If Nix chokes under the pressure of the road, he will likely choke in the Iron Bowl too

Ok, I'll play.
If Bama needs help from the officials to beat Tennessee at BDS.

Auburns defense matches up very well with Bamas offense. They are by far the best and most physical defense in the SEC if not the country
