Cool…..I’ll go list 2 tickets for the next men’s game for $100,000 means just as much as someone pointing out what someone LISTED their women’s tickets for.

I didn’t say it meant anything. I simply said that his premise (which is they are listed) is a fact. It is not subjective. The tickets are listed just as the OP stated.

Your premise is ignorant…..can list for a million, doesn’t mean someone will buy it.

I think his premise is that there are two tickets priced at $8k. As best I can tell he implied nothing else; only that someone listed them. That’s not ignorance, that is a fact. If you made any other inferences, that’s on you.

Do you spend your whole day -- and whole life -- putting a political spin on everything, including sports & games

I think that is a question better addressed to The Athletic and The NY Times.

Three great Tigers. However, they never stepped up and performed in a Senior Bowl practice or game like Nuss did this week.

You dangled a shiny hook and got us. Congrats brother. Nice troll. I sincerely thought you were serious after your original post.

I know I might be harsh listing Nuss as the 4th spot of Mount Rushmore just behind Y.A.

This is just silly. 4th in LSU history ahead of Hodson? Ahead of Bert Jones? Are you serious?

I would put Mett, Mauke, Ro and Herb Tyler in front of him. Hell, Josh Booty was all SEC his senior year. I would arguably put Booty in front of him.

I like Nuss and I appreciate him staying at LSU his entire career, but come on.

you act like Landry has any real authority over intercollegiate athletics or anything outside of the state.

It was state government around the country that started this whole “wild west” intercollegiate system that we have now. Landry has just as much authority as the knuckleheads who got us here.

Never underestimate a politicians ability to:

1) Screw something up
2) Identify a problem and then make it worse
3) Create a problem where none exists.

It was dumb to say that and now they're having the waste more money on promotions to try to get people to games.

Firing the coach now isn't going to change who goes to the next 4 or 5 games. It’s only another month and we can get rid of him at the end of the year.

Gotta think 20+ for the portal/retaining players

You are probably going to need to multiply that number by 2

tGeneral is coming back.

No he’s not, by mutual agreement.

Need a real coach.

Correct, and there are many more than just Will Wade.
quote:

I'd rather they spend that money bulldozing the ghettos around campus

That would be great, but LSU can’t pull that one off unilaterally. Obviously need the acquiescence of the current property owners. Im sure those people have recouped their money many times over. These properties, shitty as they are, represent easy (partially tax avoidable) money for the current owners

Do you also feel that there should be a penalty for grown adults that get hired away from one company to another every year? If not, how is that different than players going to different schools?

At most companies there is not a very limited playing season and an even more limited training season.

To compare the these athletes to “normal” employees is comparing apples to bowling balls. The relationship is different and the business in which they’re involved is different.

All major sports originations already know this and put up guardrails and restrictions on when and what management and players can do.

If the NFL did what colleges are doing it would kill the sport…..

And make no mistake, if similar guardrails and restrictions are not introduced in college it will kill college sports.

That is ridiculous. Apparently it’s all of Mississippi that is delusional, not just Oxford.

I just figured with everything that has went down and been said that Seaton would’ve done committed by now

So much to unpack in just this one sentence….

Concerns that Seaton hasn’t signed yet?

Yes. I also don’t think we’re going to get Kiffin. It’s taking too long.

Lane will need extraordinary security for OM game

He just took care of that. His name is Jordan Seaton.

And you are? Believe me, this was not something they wanted to admit to me lol.

Then why did they? Were you in some way coercing or threatening them. You didn’t even claim it was a friend, you simply said it was a ‘fan’. Why would a fan of one team admit something to a random guy that they didn’t want to admit?

Actually, yes.
