They(aTm)did not, I'll repeat for your sensitive membranes, they have not beat us in recruiting! They only had more scholarships to give.. check out player avgs and Bama's still a top the most exalted throne in college football!
Got to hand it to them, though.. they'll burn out or be brought down by the NCAA for their overtly dishonesty and cheating of the fair-play and NILS rules..but they're going to be a handful for everybody except Bama and LSU to beat!

That’s not at all what he was saying, though. He was just pointing out that many in your fan base claim that only Bama can beat Bama, and everyone outside of your fan base collectively roll their eyes at that statement. Why not award the winner of our annual game the Bear Bryant trophy?
It would commemorate annually one of the greatest coaches of all time and no matter the winner would be a trophy worthy of winning.

I was simply suggesting a way to honor a great coach by both schools making a lasting tribute because he meant a lot to both schools.

I honestly doubt we will be playing Alabama every year starting in 2025 (either they end up in the east or we go to pods), so the proposal is moot.

Haha. Aggie has one top recruiting class and can't realize that they aren't even above Texas level. Much less Bama level

How about instead of a Winners Trophy you do one for the loser.
You could use a bust of Coach Fran and the Loser has to take the Trophy for a year.
Maybe call it the "Hold the Rope" Trophy
