Not all titles are even remotely the same......
Football or Basketball titles bring a ton of exposure a higherrate of applications the next year, more enthusiastic alumn who will donate, etc
very much not the same at all
1 Football or Mens Basketball title brings easily 20x more attention then any in womens sports. Plus mens sports usually pay for womens sports(outside of a very few)

I do NOT like this at all. Keep the SEC the same now and forever. Everyone in the SEC has their own thing. They are good at a certain sport or something that kids study at school.
Keep us at 16 SEC schools, no one is allowed in or out

every SEC team has their own thing. South Carolina is amazing at girls bball Arkansas is amazing at track (and Stapleton Songs and beer). I dont see why you would wanna change it, vandy is amazing at school

It is all about marketplaces now, so very much doubt the SEC wi) give up the Missouri marketplace and the Miss marketplaces.

frick UVA and Duke, have no clue what the fascination is with those two institutions.... Duke is for trust fund babies and UVA is too weird for even Virginians.... What's left of the real Virginians..... Most I know can't stand UVA....

We may add a team from North Carolina and Virginia but we already have the other states covered. WVU was passed over previously and nothing has changed.

Duke the nationan wide fanbase is probably financial..them, UNC, Kansas, and Kentucky are the big 4 in Basketball without a doubt. UCLA has very old titles, they are like Indiana..has-beens. Indianas last title was a year after I was born...I have grey hair in my beard.

I see your point, but there’s a lot of deadweight in both conferences. The solution would be to make a new conference that would take the cream of the crop from both conferences. Teams would leave for the upgraded revenue sharing alone.

Yeah that's what fans are clamoring for. I know at the end of games we multiply points scored by team GPA to determine the "real" winner.
