And for the record, I am not of Acadian or Cajun French ancestry. If you watched the True South Episode about New Orleans Italian restaurants, you would get close to my dialect so to speak or accent, which sure the hell is not anything like rural white Southerners across the South.
You're a fricking Yat.
Sound like your from the Bronx?
Yeah, my dad too.

Hannagriff's accent is not bad, I don't know why people say that. Yes, he is as close as a LSU homer you have on Baton Rouge Sports talk, and his hatred for scheduling or constant beating that drum, which he blames on SEC office in Birmingham, can get old, but he sounds fine to me.

Quasi yat, all my ancestors immigrated from Sicily-Southern Italy in 1890's just like what you saw on the show and the all settled around New Orleans, over time they started moving up river and to North Shore, Baton Rouge, etc, so I still have a dialect more in line with New Orleans, all of my relatives who lived in the City have passed on, or moved out, but back when I was a kid, Gentilly around Brother Martin HS and Mid-City around Saint Anthony Church were 2 areas where some lived. My Grandfather had some first cousins that lived Uptown but they have long since passed, as my Grandfather (Paternal one)

You should check it out, since you spend the majority of your time on an LSU forum.
