Whoever plays Bama needs to play a near flawless game to win. The Gumps are pretty good at creating big plays in all phases of the game.

Vegas would disagree with your assessment. A 13 pt favorite is pretty stout on the road. That would equate to a 3TD favorite at home. Think about that for a moment when you say we're equal.

UT has a SLIGHT edge on(and I'm being generous):
QB
RB
I think we are equal in the kicking game.
UT has a mental edge with all these comeback wins but we have faced OM down 21pts on the road too.
Add it up and that's like 16-17pts on a neutral field. 3 pts to home team, so Bama -13

The thing that separates Alabama from most teams is the sheer number of talented players. Most good teams only have a handful of playmakers. Alabama has them in virtually every position.
