I think Auburn could give some NFL teams a run for their money, including the Patriots.

Here is old Willy's take on the best teams, at this point in the season:
Oklahoma
LSU
Ohio St.
Auburn
Alabama
Clemson
Ugay
Agree or not, I don't care, but Oklahoma will win the NC

Auburn is almost always good when they have low expectations. Hype is like kryptonite to Auburn

Auburn can survive a late loss in November and no sec championship appearance where lsu and uga can't.

To early to say.

Right now it appears that Auburn has an incredible resume.

However, if Oregon tanks and Notre Dame and Texas win out, your argument as it pertains to Auburn’s advantage over LSU or Georgia surviving a late season loss is without merit.

I agree. They look like the most complete team right now.

So far they have the best resume and have looked the best

this is the truth. But I don't think we run the schedule out, it is too grinding and tough. I still think we go 1-1 against UGA and Bama and go 1-1 against LSU/UF.

neither Oregon or Miss State has a good defense.

Miss State has no offense.

how does beating Miss State at home mean Auburn is the best team in the country. lol

Tell us more about how bad the Oregon defense is. They've probably given up 20 or TDs since AU, right?
