I agree, but LSU seems to have cornered the market, just look at tRant and imagine those fans at a game.

Now you just sound like a pussy. If you can't take a little ribbing while in enemy territory, don't come. Keep your butthurt arse home. And definitely don't go to an Arkansas game.

Eh, people in BR are actually good folks. Even the yunguns. Honestly, road fans of the other team are usually their best fans. They're usually the only ones that can afford to travel (especially amongst Bama fans). I love to trash talk like anyone else but I don't have a problem with visiting Florida fans. They seem to be knowledgeable of the game and respectable. I love this game as its almost always close and a real fight to the finish. Hardly ever a blowout.

I've never had a problem with LSU fans. Even the heckling and what not was good natured.

One of the things I hate the most about Arkansas being stuck in our worst run of all time in college football is that the heat has gone completely off our series with LSU.

I have had some great trips to BR but the last couple visits it was obvious that the younger fans are much more hostile toward visitors than they used to be. No biggy, I'll gladly watch the game on the flat screen in my recliner. Go Gators.

Yeah just pick one of the threads crying about Florida making fun of your dead mascot, or Mullen not apologizing to Auburn or being mean to the our AB. Not responses in a thread, but taking the time to start their very own thread about it.

And here you are bitching at an old man who said he didn't prefer to be cussed at by punks.

Some LSU fans are worse than Democrats. You can't even leave the nice threads alone.

Gainesville is notoriously a shithole for opposing fans and you're gonna act all high and mighty?

Get fricked.

How did Florida go from should have lost to Kentucky to fairly comfortably beating Auburn?

Matt, my wife and I attended a Fla. game in Gainsville a few years ago. Gators won. On our walk back to car we passes a group of young gator fans. One had a megaphone and got in our faces yelling perverted things to wife and myself. I would have punched him if he wasnt with 5 other trashy young men. So it works both wasys.

I have sat squarely in the middle of the tiger section with my Cajun g/f back in 1983 when we won something like 24-14 and I had no problems except the usual tigerbait ragging after the game...even though we had won. I just laughed and fortunately my g/f had friends that went to that directional school in La SW Louisiana as it was called then.

Holy Moley the chicks there were smoking hot! A lot prettier than LsU honestly from what I saw and my eyes were on a swivel (cant stare with g/f with you if want some later you know). We stopped there on the way to red stick and I didn't even want to go and see the game then

My guess? Their crowd rattled the hell out of a true freshman QB and stayed inside his head through most of the game, for one thing. The Swamp isn't the best road trip for a newb.

I'll be straight up: Florida's OL will likely have similar issues, this weekend.

Trask has been a good QB, this season- far better and more consistent than Franks, in my outsider looking in opinion.

But can he perform inside that snake pit of hate on Saturday night- especially if he has to play from behind?

I'm aware of Florida's defense. They are very good and deserve every bit of praise they get.

But if anyone is expecting LSU's offense to look anything like you've seen in the past 10 years, get rid of those thoughts- because that's out the window.

If it turns out I'm wrong, I will be back to congratulate y'all. But this situation is very different.

I enjoy the LSU game as well.

The LSU fans have become a little disrespectful since 2011 after Foley hired those 2 idiots but I guess if I was a LSU fan I would kick em while they are down also.

Anyway, hopefully its a great game Saturday. Win or lose, I just hope UF starts to ascend back up to the UF standard set many years ago in order to continue having great games vs LSU, Bama, UGA. AU, etc.

Sorry you had that experience, but you shouldn’t let those few ruin your day! Although I must admit, if you got tix thru UF then I don’t see any of those students “who definitely would be drunk to do that” going all the way across the stadium just to do that! Makes no sense, so much so that I would call bullshite on that comment! And if you bought tickets online then be a lil smarter next time and don’t buy tickets around the student section! I know when I am going to away games and buy tickets online the first thing I do is make sure they are no where near their student section! You are just asking for it at that point

I know isn’t that amazing about our fan base! And what is also amazing is the coincidence we have with the Gator fan base.

If y’all took the average number of teeth in a Gator fans mouth “13” and multiple it by 3, that number would be larger than our number of fans! Pretty amazing isn’t it!

Here is to a great injury free game, and a long ride home for the losing visiting teams fans!
