I don’t do it often, actually. It’s just that the vast majority of Mizzou threads are about Arkansas.

Missouri always voted against unequal revenue sharing.

And at least 7 others in your conference voted for it. But Texas broke the Big 12, right?

Also funny to watch you turn around after hitching your wagon to Texas A&M, who also voted for uneven revenue distribution, and claim that Texas killed the conference.

I'm no Aggy apologist. They left to get out of your shadow, they were complicit in every decision that killed the Big 12 until that point.

Has Mizzou always been this starved for attention/love in the SEC?

I have a sense this is the correct answer.

They will know in Austin tho when Tigers eat that nutless steer all up.

This X 1000. Texas poisoned the SWC, and then the Big 12. Hopefully the SEC is strong enough to avoid the same fate, but Texas will try.

People will laugh, but the Big 12, in it's initial configuration, was an incredibly strong and balanced conference. And it all fell apart with a big assist from Texas.

God willing we can keep them in check in the SEC. There should be enough money and enough moxy to keep them from wrecking everything once again.

Why do you mizzou fans keep pretending like the BIG XII was ever broken?

It wasn't broken after you left. In fact, it was peaceful the entire time you were gone.
It's not broken now.
It's about to be bigger than ever in its existence.

Pretend isn't real. You all know that right?

Pretty sure Texas broke the SWC. I don't think Arkansas left because it was just so wonderful to be with y'all.

Is there a rule in Missouri that says they can’t post on this board without mentioning Arkansas?

Once again, Arkansas didn’t appreciate how they were treated by ALL the texas schools but that’s not why they left the SWC. Frank Broyles started looking for other options in the 80s because he was concerned texas would leave the conference and take aggie with them leaving Arkansas in no man’s land with a group of schools who weren’t committed enough to sports to fill a quarter of their stadiums or arenas.

When the SEC offered it was a no brainer. No one ran Arkansas off, Arkansas left for self preservation.

You missed the big picture here sport. B12 had become #2 behind the SEC for college sports. This did not make the B1G happy so instead of fixing their conference they wrecked the B12.

All I know is this conference will be a riot going forward. Like a family reunion where everyone gets hammered and fights each other. All the dirt is coming to the surface.
