Seems to be a lot of animosity.

I like GAT Boiler Pickle because I appreciate the psychopathy of a Mizzou fan who has turned around and trolled his own fandom with a Texas persona. It's an interesting dynamic.

I don't get it either. I would put Mizzou in the same camp as literally any school that has shared a conference with the Longhorns: that athletic department is greedy and arrogant. I also take their fans less seriously than pretty much any other.

But rivalry? Not even close. We've only played them 24 times and they've mostly beaten the hell out of us. I didn't really think much about Texas at all once we left the Big 12, until they begged us to let them into the SEC because they broke their old conference (again).

Our only true rivals are Kansas and Nebraska, of course the former more so than the latter. We have minor rivalries with Illinois (excellent, but not played frequently enough because Illinois gets tired of losing to us and cancels the games), Iowa State (historic game, but we own them), Oklahoma (historic game, but they own us), and Arkansas (budding little rivalry that Hog fans try to shun).

GAT Boiler Pickle is an obvious alter, all he talks about is Missouri and the REC. Texas fans don't think about either of these things.

Rival? No. Hatred? Yes. Oh trust me, you will feel it to. Just wait. Most pretentious fan base on the planet.

You'll learn.

It's not just us.

It won't take long for you or the rest of the conference to hate them.

To share the same conference with Texas is to hate Texas.

Damn. I had no idea Missouri fans had this big of a victim complex

This one in particular was my favorite though:

Begged as in watched the conference vote 14-0 in favor of Texas being added (probably after the SEC saw what a colossal failure of an addition Texas a&m and Missouri were)?

"Broke their old conference" despite doing exactly what Missouri + 3 other teams did before them, and despite the Big 12 having 18 or so teams next year?

Y'all almost make this too easy. If you weren't such incessant crybabies, maybe Texas fans would pick on you less

Texas fans are envious of Mizzou for having escaped the conference they ruined, while they were paying a premium to subscribe to the Longhorn network to watch them lose to kansas

You call it what you want: you needed Mizzou to vote "Yes" just as much as every other school. And unlike Aggy, Mizzou didn't throw a big ol fit about Texas joining the conference.

Now, I wonder what it was that caused those four teams to exit the Big 12? I remember hearing something about an exodus to the PAC-10 by the Texas and Oklahoma schools, a Longhorn Network, a relocation of the conference headquarters from Kansas City (where they'd been for the entire Big Eight's existence) to Dallas, and railroading favorable bylaws with the help of your Texas and Oklahoma school cronies and isolating the old core of the Big Eight.

Pretty sure Texas broke the SWC. I don't think Arkansas left because it was just so wonderful to be with y'all.

This X 1000. Texas poisoned the SWC, and then the Big 12. Hopefully the SEC is strong enough to avoid the same fate, but Texas will try.

Based on Missouri posts in this thread alone, that is categorically false

Ah yes. Texas being savvy enough to capitalize on uneven revenue sharing (that Missouri, Nebraska and A&M all voted for as well) scared off Missouri and the rest. I'm sure it had nothing to do with each of those teams horrendous records against Texas and Oklahoma or anything

Texas got the death penalty? I thought that was SMU?

Go ahead and look up Arkanasas' record against Texas when they shared a conference as well (hint: it'll look very similar to Missouri's vs. Texas in the Big 12)

Nobody at Mizzou feels like a victim. We just don’t like you. To be fair, that is a pretty universal feeling.

Mizzou got a lot of shite for being liberal. Wait until opposing fans visit Austin.

Oh how I wish Texas could go over 50 years without winning a conference title, never make the college football playoff, and be as irrelevant as Missouri in every other sport beyond football!!!

Texas... beat Kansas... by 26 this year? And 41 last year (the same team you publicly announced you were too scared of facing in a bowl game)

ETA: all the downvotes and not a single response to refute anything I said. Victim tigers, folks
