Not sure about hosting a conference championship game at one of the teams stadiums. I do believe that it shouldn’t be rotated and not just always in the ATL. Sick of UGA having an additional home game. No different than then having it in BHAM. We have several other options. Not sure why the SEC can’t figure this out. Other options:
Superdome (New Orleans)
Titans stadium (Nashville)
Jaguars stadium (Jacksonville)
Bucs stadium (Tampa bay)
Texans stadium (Houston)
Wish they would rotate this each year. Not only does it make it fair for both teams but it also gives the SEC fans a chance to travel to different locations and have a new experience.

UGA fans in here being like “I see what you’re saying but we like “neutral site” for the SECCG.

So how would you decide it in years where teams have the same record? Ranking is a puss poor option.
Off the top of my head, how about a "possession arrow" for years they are tied.

LSU is only there every 5 years or so, you probably would end up playing in Atlanta anyway; so your fans should still have a unique experience each time.

I understand the appeal for recruiting (playing in Texas early in the season) but I wouldn’t mind seeing home field advantage during championship week.

Logistics of hosting CG on campus would be too difficult. In years when the host site isn't known until the last week or two of the season, you would have a scramble trying to find hotel rooms for folks coming in for the game. Add in that most campus towns don't have the facilities to host the auxiliary events like the legends dinner, fan fair, etc. That makes places like Atlanta perfect.
Also, if you try to rotate the location of the game, you may as well take Atlanta out of the mix as the host, because as soon as MBS isn't used for the SEC one year, the ACC would jump into that slot and not give it up. You would then be left with NOLA, Houston, St Louis, and possibly Jax and Tampa as rotating host sites. Nashville and Charlotte would be skipped due to open stadiums with the potential for cold weather. Jax/Tampa might be skipped because the SEC doesn't want to risk playing in the rain, so they would probably limit locations to domes/closeable roof stadiums.

Neutral site games DURING the season should be moved H/H.
CG's should remain at 1 place!

These neutral site games need to go. It’s ruining college football for me. This weekend, LSU should be hosting UGA at Tiger Stadium. Part of college football is the true home advantage.
This operates under the assumption that conference championship games are a playoff; they are not.
Each team goes in treated as equal. One won their division, the other won their division.
If you start treating division winners as better/worse before the game is played, then you're really saying that winning your division for other considerations is irrelevant.

Pretty unsurprising it’s only uga fans screaming about keeping it in Atlanta.
I think a rotation is a good idea. Playing it on campus is fricking stupid though.

It's an idiotic idea for a home team to be hosting. Are they gonna keep all the revenue that's now distributed to the other conference teams? Would've both teams are undefeated or undefeated in the conference? How are you gonna distribute the tickets?
If that's your philosophy why have semis at home stadiums or the NC game?

the kickoff classic season opener BS I fully agree with. Conf championship games I don't mind being neutral, especially the dome/benz as a cool setting.

What if both teams were undefeated? Why should LSU get that massive advantage because a committee ranked them higher than us? Neutral is neutral...equal ticket split, same advantages/disadvantages for both, etc.

This even goes for the FL / UGA game
this is the worst take imaginable. In one breah you say these games are "ruining college football", then want to do away with the most unique game in cfb that has been played that way since the 1930s.

ESPN and all of the shite networks have also ruined college football but whatever
In the olden days every game was at 1pm and you might get lucky to see 1 game broadcast on TV per year. Quit your frickign whining

Disagree. Most of these matchups wouldn't be played if it weren't for nuetral site reg season games.Home and homes have logistic and financial issues along with having to schedule these games YEARS in advance.
