These neutral site games need to go. It’s ruining college football for me. This weekend, LSU should be hosting UGA at Tiger Stadium. Part of college football is the true home advantage.

Every season has neutral games and the games should be played at the actual home college stadium.

This even goes for the FL / UGA game. Each year should be hone 1 / Away 1 games

Not to mention, ESPN and all of the shite networks have also ruined college football but whatever

So how would you decide it in years where teams have the same record? Ranking is a puss poor option.

If it’s a traditional neutral site game (UGA/FL, OU,Texas) then keep it neutral. Those are great. Built on tradition.

Stop with these “kickoff classic” neutral site games in Charlotte and Atlanta. I’d take a home and home over that shite any day.

Nope. LSU gets the Sugar Bowl. Georgia gets the SEC Championship. Bama gets the league office.

I don’t think a rivalry game lives up to potential being played on a neutral site.

I don’t know why the down votes but I would love to watch this game played at Tiger Stadium OR in Athens. Whichever team was best in the season and deserves home field advantage

I’m
Over neutral site games in regular season. But the Conference championship shouldn’t be at someone’s home. It should be neutral.

I have seen what I thought would be a cool idea. New Orleans on heats the West team is home. And Atl for east years. Alternate them yearly.

Why shouldn't the game be in Athens?

I agree with the premise for the most part. And def for all other conferences. But the SECC in the dome is lit. It’s the greatest event in college football imo

I agree, the setting is very cool. I'm fine with Atlanta hosting. It would be cool to have a rotation of some kind. An SECCG in NOLA, but not against it staying put.

Says a fan of a team who is not welcome at any of them.

It's fricking awesome to know you've got a game lined up against the REAL USC, or Clemson, or Michigan, or Wisconsin, or Miami, or Va Tech, or FSU, or Miami, in a city like Dallas or Atlanta. Yeah, sure, Duke and Louisville sucked but they are definitely the exception.

Even take away the LSU aspect and I agree. It just makes sense.
