Why is this butt hurt osu fan still on this board? Doesn’t he have a big 10 board he could go to to whine, gripe and lick his wounds. No one. Absolutely NO one gives a damn what he thinks or who he respects. Any fan of a school that supports and reveres the immoral and trashy Urban Meyer is obviously an idiot.

Why not? If it set up the Ohio State vs Georgia finals that the nation wanted which was best for business. It would have attained record ratings.

Excellent strategy friend. Start a thread so all your detractors can spew vitriol, venom, and anger all at once.

Tomorrow starts a new day ! Brilliant !

Inside zone and outside zone.

Monken redefined college football in the 4th quarter.

Other teams are going to try this moving forward. I promise you.

You're going around the truth by repeating the same nonsense that you are beginning to believe it. He kicked a 49 yd FG, so 1 more yard isn't a big deal to someone with a leg strong as his.

As for the defense, I never said Georgia was no good. I was one of the first to call for the repeat on here after destroying Oregon. Most on here downplayed it but not me. Ohio State could not keep Georgia from scoring all game and without our injured offensive players it became a struggle on offense to move the ball, score or eat time.

Pro Tip: Don't blow 14 point leads MULTIPLE times in an elimination game.

Did you see it? It wouldn't have made another yard. It barely cleared the crossbar.

And he had never hit 50 in a game.
So putting the NCG on the line for a kicker whose nickname at UNC was Struggles (quote from Mack Brown) was a bold move by Day that failed.
The missed kick was on Days coaching.
Not Ruggles' leg.

I expected a lot of bullshite from some but not the nonsense and stupidity I have read in this thread. It is like they are spewing this crap to get a rise out of me which it does not. I don't get upset over football games or message boards.

Absolutely comical coming from a tOSU Buckeye fan where running up scores on hapless opponents was invented. And be damn sure this is not interpreted in any way a defense of Kirb who I despise anyway.

It is a big deal for a couple of reasons.

1. It wasn't just 1 more yard. It needed to go higher in order to prevent the UGA ST unit from blocking it, which they've done in key moments in big games over the past few years. He needed extra leg behind it to get it up safely.

2. It's not just how much leg you can get behind it, but how much you can accurately get behind it. As in a lot of things in sports, you can get a bit more power at the expense of form and technique. However, if you slouch in technique, you can get ugly looking results, like that flying saucer that went about mile wide of the uprights.

Yes, UGA is good. So is OSU. The issue is that you keep harping on the offense (that was up by 2 scores late in the game) as the reason you lost rather than not getting stops on defense when you needed to. You had more than enough points to win that game, but you needed the defense to step up, and they didn't. Because of that, you needed your special teams to step up, and they didn't. Your offense--even without MHJ--still did enough to get the win. Stroud, specifically, manned up and carried the team on that last drive, doing enough to give you a chance to win it, but it didn't happen.

Like I said, there are three phases to the game. OSU failed in two of them and are blaming the loss on the third (because of injuries). You've got it backwards.

its not running up the score when you are running a base offense with backups. They worked their butt off and wanting to show everyone what they can do.

I know Auburn fans are looking for a group of people who can accept them for who they are.

bro you won only because of a missed field goal.

Bro you were only in the game because UGA played their C game, missed 2 fg’s, and OSU got an unforced TO over gifted them and UGA still had more passing yards and rushing yards and most importantly more points. Georgia was better before the game and after the game. I’m sorry the Peach bowl gave you a false sense of stature But you got drilled at home by a team that TCU beat on a neutral field. Your kicker did what he’d done all year which Us fail to make a 50+ yard FG, also a fear that has a sub 35% success rate in CFB.

I don’t know why you’re shocked or surprised, Losing to SEC teams is Ohio State’s identity

And you lost bc you missed a field goal. Life is binary. You win or you lose. You’re a winner or a loser. You’re obviously a loser. And you can’t accept it but doesn’t matter. You’re still a loser.
