Sports center is obsolete now. Can just watch all the highlights you want on youtube and don’t have to listen to sjw stuff

Actually I’m a moderate. I just have this odd fascination with people that refuse to think beyond the narrow scope of what’s right in front of them.

SJW stuff is meh, I enjoyed Keith Oberman on ESPN. Just do the job at a high level 1st. As long as the SJW stuff isn’t all that’s offered it’s something I can deal with. I read too much Scfi fantasy stuff to avoid seeing it and if presented in a compelling coherent manner I’ll even look into it and can amend opinions.

I’m not sure who the target audience is for ESPN’s non-live sports shows, but I haven’t watched them in over a decade. SVP is the only entertaining personality they have left

I was eating breakfast at a hotel a few weeks ago and ESPN was on one of the TVs.

Pretty much. Don’t involve kids and don’t require my approval and it’s good. And think things through. That’s enough for me. And it’s kinda messed up that it took moving to the whitest, most conservative, fairly religious, part of the country to find that level of tolerance and freedom.

Not sure I’d classify E. TN as conservative in the traditional sense. It has a long history of being it’s own world. It was GOP when the GOP was progressive and reviled by the rest of the South for being too socially liberal on race relations before and after the Civil War. It has Highlander Center which trained MLK and Rosa Parks in non-violent protest and specifically help Rosa prepare for not giving up her seat and what would follow. Highlander also served as a meeting place for Civil Rights Leaders when the times got so violent that they were afraid to meet publicly and all together. The state of Georgia sent agents to capture footage of white people swimming with black people here to use as propaganda against integration. And that history goes on and on.
We of course have plenty of conservatives but we also have a strong progressive side and of course plenty on the left. E. Tn is too ornery to be classified by traditional methods. Hell UT supported the Union as did 90 percent of the region.

You can watch just about any game on Youtube live now until they get to the playoffs. They will sometimes yank them for copyright violations, but I watched just about every game live last season.
