I concur on a few of your points man. I strongly believe that nobody is going undefeated in conference play and the conference champion could very well have two losses. We're going to beat each other up this coming season.........

Good for you. Way too many posters counter any prediction post with something to the effect of "omg you're so stupid, look at what happened last year"

You're confusing Les with John Chavis.

I don't think that any of the people who know anything about football believe LSU will suck this year.

Does LSU have a tough schedule? Yes and most believe Auburn & Arky will be better this year.

Whatever team emerges as the SEC Champion will have been thoroughly tested.

I could live with that. But seriously Ole Miss is going to be very good. 2-4 are completely interchangeable for me.

Bama plays at TAMU, LSU plays at Bama and TAMU plays at LSU. If the home team wins in each of these games, and there are no other losses by these three teams, how is the division champ determined? What are the tie breakers?

Since your scenario elements first tie-breaker I believe it goes to in division record next. Nevermind, you also stated no other losses. Not sure from there.

All are 7-1 in conference, 5-1 in division, their only loss to each other? I think it's BCS ranking (as opposed to overall record)...not 100% sure on this though.

If that scenario occurred and BCS ranking is the factor, you gotta believe LSU would get the nod based on SOS.

IMO Arkansas still has a couple of years before they're capable of competing for a top spot in the west. I also think the SEC will be pretty on par with the last few years.

I don't think there will be an unbeaten team from the SECW this year. It will be a very tough division, to say the least.

Yeah but there is a difference between being able to win the division and being able to knock off one of the top contenders in one game. Arkansas, Auburn, Ole Miss and Miss State will all be good enough to give Bama, A&M, and LSU a run for their money on any given Saturday. JMHO.

I think it finishes out:
1.LSU
2.Bama
3.Ole Miss
4.A&M
5.State
6.Auburn
7.Arkansas

I'm sure aggies and flagships will think this is funny and that I'm flaming but this is my serious prediction.

Can someone who's been here longer verify that this is indeed, the first year every team has a good coach that wants to win?

Lsu could beat bama and a&m head to head and still not win the division. In fact even if you told me they would for sure win both of those games I still don't think I'd pick them.

Ole miss has a better shot at the west than lsu
