I think it’s almost a perfect pairing in some respects.
Neither party is much for long-term commitment and settling down for the long haul, for better or worse, and so forth.
It could be epic and memorable like a brief shooting star or it could end in a train wreck drama to top most train wreck dramas.
Whatever it is, it likely won’t be for too many years.

Not to mention both guys were stealing from a children's hospital
Quit fricking lying.
I know you like to endear yourself with other fanbases here, but you don’t have to outright lie to do so.
Our Lady of the Lake is not, and never has been a Children’s Hospital. It’s the largest hospital in Louisiana. Does OLOL have a cancer center, a children’s center, an orthopedic center, etc etc etc. yes.
The former president and CEO of Our Lady of the Lake Foundation, John Paul Funes, which owns the entire OLOL system, was embezzling funds from the foundation. He was a booster of LSU, who did indeed donate money to LSU. He stole from OLOL, not Les Miles or Ed O.
So, please quit feeding the masses lies.

It's amazing how Bama fans talk about LSU way way more than they talk about their own team. We're ALWAYS on their minds.

What’s the difference? Not like the mighty rebels will win anything other than a cupcake game against the charity playoff team.

I don't think you understand what "melt" means.
I like Lane but there is no denying that he is like a hot girlfriend who had cheated on her previous boyfriends, but you think will be faithful to you.

Of course he was gonna leave…..just not when his team was 11-1 and hosting a Playoff game. That would be retarded.
That was the OM AD’s decision. He was going to stay and coach through the playoffs. Even the players wanted him to stay and coach. If he was going to go this was a good of an opportunity he was going to get at LSU. We were desperate for something positive and exciting after the BK experience.

Yes, we’re not as dumb as you all would like to think we are ;)

You people are legit retards.
Yes. This year OM was better than LSU. What you people are failing to realize is that the Kiffin effect of being able to bring in top level transfer talent ENDS at the clip you all have now become accustomed too. This scares the ever loving shite out of you. Deep down you know this. Deep down you know Golding Is not going to be able to maintain the success level on par with what Kiffin did there.
And this SCARES THE shite out of you.
So yes, LSU is excited to get Kiffin, the transfer players that will follow from OM and around the country, and the blue chip guys that we usually recruit. Kiffin will probably have multiple trips to the CFP with LSU- he may actually be able to win a NC, but no one on our side expects the guy to retire here.
And when he leaves, we have already shown that $ is no object to attract a high level HC and to take one from a playoff bound team should LSU set their sights on him.
Now, enjoy your Sugar Bowl, loss to UGA, hang your CFP banner in that little stadium. No one can ever take this 2025 season away from you all.
Just so we're clear, you think everyone in the sec is terrified of kiffin at lsu?

The thing is that when/ if that day comes, LSU will move onto the next big time candidate and be content with Lane getting things back on track and bringing in more national championships to LSU.
LSU won't get butt hurt about a split with Lane unless it's because he's not meeting expectations.

Yes. This year OM was better than LSU.
Ole Miss has been better than LSU 4 of the last 5 years.
Hell, Missouri has better than LSU for the last three years.

We had Miles and he had a secret apartment to bring co-eds to.
I want to pause here, cause this is vitally important. Is this honestly true? I understand how coaches at Big 6 schools are treated as gods, but I still can’t fathom Les fricking Miles pulling coed arse. Just doesn’t compute.
