Do you think Saban brings someone in at qb? Or rolls with him and sayin
I think Saban will look at the portal, but unless he can lure a special talent to campus, BAMA is stuck with Milroe next season.

Every fan base including ours has some serious douche bags.

Why him? Why not those who were unable to coach him? I have seen many Bama fans claim, prior to this last game, that this was Saban's best coaching job ever. If you guys were honest with yourselves, you would realize that it has been years since Bama has really been well coached. With the talent he stockpiles, if Saban really did a good job coaching, you guys would be undefeated almost every year.

slightly-undermanned Alabama
That’s laughable. Alabamas offense alone probably has more 5 stars on it than most teams have total.

They aren't as good as they were in the past. Still very good but for example they let a terrible Arkansas team stay with them to the very end this year and had other close calls.
Milroe is still learning but he isn't on par with Hurts/Tua/Jones/young. Not yet and he will get better.
I think the transfer portal has hurt development at Alabama more than other programs because these players want playing time at the end of the day. Under the old rules, they would stick it out no matter what even if that meant sitting on the bench for a few years.

Neither do I. Don't hate on the players. Saban/OC called the plays...Milroe carries them out to the best of his ability. He had done pretty well up to this game...

I like jalen. Hope he’s the dude next year

Milroe isn't a good enough QB to be at Bama....He made it worse with all that LANK victim-hood trash. Then he tried to make it racial all because he was too delusional to admit his IQ is too low for the position. Hope he never plays another down at Bama.

from an LSU fan perspective, I'm only sick of him because of the weird hype he gets.
He literally finished #6 in the heisman voting and got 4 first place votes. He was benched this year for being bad and did not have a great season. He isn't a terrible QB, but he should not have gotten any votes for heisman(it may have come from former Bama players).
But if his jersey said any school not named Bama, he would have never been half as hyped this year. That is mainly it, it isn't his fault at all.

Found another idiot, go check the Bama board because it's full of them today. How many slants did we even run last night? I didnt see any.
They don't call them because Milroe can't be trusted to throw them. Why else would BAMA abandon a play that has been a staple of the play book for the last fricking decade and a half?

Milroe didnt play his best last night but neither did any of our players or coaches besides our special teams
Wrong. That's the best Milroe can play vs a defense that doesn't allow him to throw vertically.

Michigan also made the plays in the most crucial moments, and they deserve all of the credit in the world for that.
Except for the runs in OT, those crucial plays were all on the back of their qb (3 TD passes). He played like a champ. Milroe didn't.

And some of McCarthy's critical pass completions came courtesy of a confused Bama secondary and linebackers pointing fingers after completions while leaving receivers wide open.
And those were obviously not Milroe's fault.

Milroe completed 16 passes for 116 yards and was sacked a billion times. His play was abysmal.
Liberty was outclassed and outmatched by Oregon in almost every aspect of their game. I think we'd all agree. How many times do you think Oregon sacked Liberty's qb? Let me help you. ZERO. There is a lot more to sacks than poor o-line play. Unless, of course, you think Liberty has a better o-line than BAMA.

I do. He didn't get it done. And in Alabama, that won't work.

Can someone explain to me how this narrative has been created and pushed this season?
Their entire offense is largely comprised of top 100 players. I'd love to have that level of being "undermanned." Seems like they have had more of a player development issue than a personnel issue. Do they have anyone in their 2-deep on offense who wasn't a 4 star or better?
Have an upvote.

Agree, the hate I see is simply because he isn't Tom Brady with his accuracy, but who is?
I was upset when he flipped from us to Bama...but then again I think he probably thrives in a Tom Herman RPO offense and may have bought that fraud an extension and we still have him as coach today. The more I think about it, thanks Milroe and the Gumps!

I thought he handled himself pretty well this season.
Well, early in the season it's kind of like he had stage fright and couldn't handle the pressure, maybe wasn't quite ready for prime time, and Saban had to bench him until he calmed down.
Then, he eventually did come around for the most part for the remainder of the season, so that was starting to look better on his part at first...
...however, he then lost focus on the playoffs by getting distracted with all of the "LANK" products, etc.
He appears to lack some "situational awareness" leading to costly sacks yesterday and him pretty much blindly lunging toward a 7-person wall stacked within the box on that overtime play, ending the season when he should have considered other alternatives to salvage that final play.
