Lombardi: Benched and traded at the half.

Landry: The rest of the team would have stomped him for such disrespect.

Madden: John would have hit him in the mouth.

I believe at that time the coaches were still making more money than the players

Reid listened, and used him to win a Super bowl...which one is right? I would argue the way it turned out was best case

Madden - 1 SB win
Landry - 2 SB win
Lombardi - 2 SB wins (3 NFL)

Reid - 3 SB wins, ( all with Kelce)

Kelce seemed to have a bit of roid rage going.

Reid and Hunt are both cucks if they let this pass.

It’s great to see such a “star” yell at his coach in front of the world. Expect most of the Little League and Pee Wee players to do the same now. It must be ok.

Meh, get over it. He also probably made a billionaire go arse to mouth afterwards.

Not sure why everyone has all their panties in a wad about this

It's a non-story.

Pretty sure I'm gonna defer to Andy Frickin Reid on this one, given he's a hardass old school football coach who is one the sports all time greats.

I would not be surprised if the Chief's quietly fine Kelce for this.

Kelce should have apologized during his post game interview.

Exactly, Reid knew he had zero chance to win without Kelce. I dislike any player yelling at the coach like that, but also have to appreciate Kelce’s fire to get back in and help his team win

I may have a minority opinion, but I have no problem with PfiserBoy yelling at his coach. It's football, yo. It's not like he has a pattern of disrespect that undermines his coach's ability to lead. It's just a violent man in violent situation being passionate. That's exactly what we want when he's on the field. But you can't expect a guy to just turn the violence off and become a kitten the moment he gets off the field.

We have some soft-arse bitches in our society now, I tell you what. And I bet Coach thinks the same thing about everyone getting sand in their pussies over this. Even if he has more class than I do and wouldn't express those thoughts.

I imagine the people at their respective cemeteries would have been very, very confused.

I love seeing a bunch of people (who had no idea what the OT rules were even after Tony Romo had to explain them to you) get upset like they know the inner workings of the Chiefs.

It worked. They won. Reid respects Kelce. Kelce respects Reid. Why do you have a problem with it?

But he did a vaccine commercial so it’s basically politics anyways. Pick your side and fight no matter what.

Like you. In here running that mouth and don't have a clue.

What Mr. Swift did was a complete lack of respect.

cuck -- "a man whose wife is sexually unfaithful" Reid and Hunt are both insanely rich. I'd gladly let my wife be "sexually unfaithful" if it meant I'd be even close to as rich as them. Oh wait, I already let her do that cause I love to watch!

You obviously don’t follow the Chiefs or even professional football.

Yes, absolutely, Kelce respects Andy Reid. There’s unbelievable respect between the two.

I guess you never saw Tom Brady going ballistic against Belichek or his OC’s & QB coaches before? Lol

If Kelce was a trump supporter everybody would be praising him for being such an alpha instead of this pussy-arse shite

You’re right..

But the part going over everyone’s head because they dont know anything about the Chiefs is they both respect the hell out of each other. They’ve both talked about many times and you can see it even when they talk about what happened last night.

When you have a long history of success and trust with a guy, you don’t really give a shite what happens in the heat of the battle. The fiery attitude in game separates them from say the Bills. You need the extra edge in game to put you over the top.

Also why it’s stupid people bring up Toney. Toney did nothing to warrant the respect that Kelce already has. 2 different standards? Absolutely but not for no reason. You can’t demand the same respect until you earn it.

I can go on because I see it in people in everyday life that don’t understand that concept but I’m going to choose not to because this is the rant so I’m wasting my time.

quote:

He came over and gave me a hug, said ‘sorry about that,'" Reid said of Kelce. "He just wants to be on the field, and he wants to play. There’s nobody I get better than I get him. He’s a competitive kid, and he loves to play. He makes me feel young."

quote:

The part I love is that he loves to play the game and he wants to help his team win," Reid told reporters. "It's not a selfish thing, that's not what it is, and I understand that. So as much as he bumps into me, I get after him and we understand that."

quote:

I got the greatest coach this game has ever seen," Kelce told reporters. "He's unbelievable at not only dialing up plays and having everybody prepared, but he's one of the best leaders of men I've ever seen in my life. He's helped me a lot with that, with chaneling that emotion, with chaneling that passion and I owe my entire career to that guy and being able to kind of control how emotional I get. I just love him, man."

I’ll post something I just said in another thread. I will get downvoted to hell, but there is an element here that loves to see dictatorial coaches like the ones they used to play for back in the day put players in their place, and see players as gladiators who exist totally for fans’ entertainment who ought to keep their mouths shut and play and act all humble and glad to be there and thank the Lord and their mamas. IMO it drives a lot of the anger about NIL and the transfer portal.
