I'd like to see them do a spring game vs. TCU. Much less risk for injury since TCU would be spending most of their time in the endzone.

How does scrimmaging another team reduce injuries?

And how are you going into your 4th season as head coach with only 8 scholarship linemen?

Sorry, I forgot that when you talk about Ole Miss you always have to include "because of injuries" because they seem to be the only team that ever has them

Because of injuries, the Rebels currently have only eight scholarship offensive linemen and not nearly enough receivers to stage a game-like scrimmage.

LOL Ole Miss fricked.

You really have to ask? Everyone knows they try to triple team Nkemdiche in practice just like all teams do ,and he is hurting his own offensive linemen.

Georgia Tech says hello to the bulldogs. Georgia Tech will tell you they are going to run the ball on 60 straight plays and you still cant stop what is coming.

Spring scrimmages as they are now get both the O and D reps every play. in a scrimmage with another team you cut those reps in half. Don't want, don't need.
Amen! Coach Freeze is free to tweek his system to accomodate his roster at any time.

Correct order of operations for changing SEC activities:

1. Win SEC
2. Give your opinion.

I think it would work if you had special rules to cut down on injuries: no blitz packages and no touching the qb, etc. Kind of like the Pro Bowl.

Schedule out of conference teams and try and keep it a low key, fan-friendly experience. It might work.
