None of that matters when Hugh Freeze is the coach. The guy is washed up and out of touch with current times. He's outdated.

He is elite when he has his guys. Sit back and enjoy the show.

Freeze turned 3 star Malik Willis into a 3rd round NFL draft pick at Liberty.

Hilarious seeing a once semi-proud program grasp at recruiting ranks etc like they are relevant, or will be SOON!

Congratulations on flipping Knight and having a stellar recruiting class.

Sometimes Auburn defies gravity. Most other teams that have had the your W-L streak couldn't get near your level of accomplishment.

I troll Auburn, but you're fun to troll. But not this time

A&M is a cautionary tale everyone should remember. Greatest recruiting class ever on paper in 2022? The seasons that followed because of pathetic coaching:

'22: 5-7
'23: 7-6, coach fired
'24: 4-1 currently with new coach

So I'm wondering if whoever Auburn's new coach is two years from now will be able to fix what Freeze did to frick up Knight's mechanics.

Didn't Saban want to hire Freeze?

I still see LSU at #3 in both On3 and 247. The only two that count.

In a similar capacity to Butch Jones, to wash Saban’s cars.

Incorrect. Freeze forced Saban to like his offense.

Pretty hard to trust the judgement of any kid who wants to play for a man like Hugh Freeze or a kid's parents for letting their kid play for him. The fake christian stuff while hiring hookers, using a high school player to get himself a job, and throwing players under the bus to avoid any blame. I know money talks right now and Auburn has proud alumni willing to write checks to make up for Freeze's shortcomings, but have to imagine the checks they're writing aren't that much bigger than competitors.

Deuce is very raw. I will be very surprised if he steps in day 1 and is ready to go. Auburn will still likely need a 1 year merc for next year.

He's athletic but not freakishly so. Throws a nice tight spiral though and looks the part if you're watching him even if the play/stats don't necessarily reflect it. Only started like 18 or so games in HS so he's got plenty of growing to do. I just don't think he will be ready next year.

As OC but they would've had a separate QB coach. Hugh is not a QB coach. He's a WR coach.

You sure seem upset by his ranking. I’ll see if I can find an email address you can complain to

You seem to think a discussion board cant apparently be about discussion on the exact topic?

Again, just would love to see the explanation outside of "6'5, runs 4.5 and jumps 40" for why he is even close to a 5-star as a QB...considering he completed just 53% of his passes last season for 2k yards and only added about 500 yards rushing which for a supposedly elite athlete seems pretty light.

His measurables might matter for a WR, but he's supposed to be a QB

We’re bringing in a transfer portal QB for 2025.

Yep, but Freeze is gonna start him by game 2 or 3 next year and SEC defenses will tear the Duck of Knight a new ahole and he’ll be ruined.

For that young man's sake I hope that doesn't happen, but I will all but guarantee that's the way it plays out. Hugh, the quarterback "guru", will march him out there too early and then blame him when it goes wrong.

Not sure that’s the case. We have another 4* freshman sitting on the bench now taking a redshirt that surely would’ve played by now if that was Hugh’s MO.
I don’t know enough about his history with QBs but I have heard he didn’t necessarily like to play true freshmen.
